I bought this game for my 5 year old and it has a setting that’s easier which she enjoys playing on. There is also the normal mode which I enjoy playing as an adult. There’s lots of gameplay to be had and entertainment for days!!

It’s a really good game. Doesn’t really matter if you know Kirby, because the game will give you the backstory. I don’t want to spoil too much, but if you’re thinking of getting a switch game, this should be your choice! Easy to learn as well.

I loved Kirby as a kid in the 90s and I love it as a middle aged adult now. This is one of my favorite games for the switch in recent memory. I am probably about 2/3s through the main story, and I find my self replaying levels all the time to get all of the unlockables.
Let me just say, that the Co-op feature in this game is awesome for a dad to play with his young children. The second play, plays as a bandana waddle dee with a spear and some good attacks. The second player will get warped to you if they are not going the right way or following kirby. I am able to play through with my 4 year old, although he can manage as kirby in the begining levels just fine. I also am able to play with my 2.5 year old daughter and she will just run around and warp to me when she falls behind. It has been a wonderful way to bond with my children.
I have a renewed love for this game and I really enjoy being able to play co op local screen with my young kids.
