This is a great action platformer with vibrant visual design, and very tight controls.
Even through it has serious kid-game feels, but there are some wierd difficulty spikes that, even when set to the easy difficulty level, it’s still not necessarily what I would call a kids game.
Much like the Donkey Kong Country series that this game heavily borrows influence from, it can be quite challenging in parts, for even for an experienced gamer.

If you love Donkey Kong Country games, you will absolutely live this game. Has very similar gameplay, it uses masks instead of animals like in DKC 2 and its quirky enough to keep you interested. It can be challenging for those completionists, but otherwise good easy game.

Collecting four letters that even resemble the yellow letter in DKC, Secrets in areas that resemble DKC, Barrels and mine carts were replaced with look alikes, It’s honestly FANTASTIC. Warning though just like the game it pays tribute to it gets fairly difficult fairly quickly as the game is about 4-5 hours long but there’s a casual mode for those who don’t want as much challenge with extra checkpoints and so forth. If you’re a fan of platformers (especially old school ones) This game is not to be missed. It may resemble DKC but it has its own charm and characters and world to explore, 5 stars 🌟
