   The JSAUX travel case is pure amazing in seance of comfort and compatibility WITH the Steam Dock if you got one like I did. The only downside I have is that it comes with a case/sleeve for the Steam Dock. On paper/description sounds good until you get it. The sleeve is hollow as intended to put the dock inside so when you rest the deck with the case on it it fits. It does but it’s too weak to just keep it on. Twice it folded and fell over. If you get this go get the JSAUX Stand Base for Steam Deck Dock. It’s solid metal, install sturdy and the Steam Dock slides right it giving it way more protection that what this kit comes with. But if you aren’t using the dock, this kit is still worth your money. The two photos with it are the dock case, you can see it’s flimsy with the slight pressure in applying. The last is the solid metal base which you NEED.

   Absolutely worth every cent. The rubber is perfectly molded and fits snug without any unwanted movement. It gives just the right amount of purchase without being too bulky and heavy. The metal kick stand is excellent and well made. The included strap and hard cover is a welcome addition, the DBrand kill switch case offers similar things, but comes at an individual cost almost as much as the entire mod case. I’m thankful that a cheap, well made, ergonomic, and functional alternative exists. I’ll definitely be recommending and using their products again. Do yourself a favor and save over 50 bucks.

   Pros:
   Protects, adds grip and ergonomics, is thinner and more compact for travel, affordable, well built, can add accessories to the case, not too heavy, face cover is easy to take on and off and stays on securely, has a kickstand that works well and looks to have been recently upgraded and improved over the old metal one that some said didn’t work well, comes with a battery strap that works well. Lots to like.
   Cons:
   Adds a little more weight, the face cover has to be stored somewhere when not in use. Not really much to complain about and the cons are kinda obvious expected.

   Great case. Fits perfectly and the front cover is amazing for travel. It has a nice and decently thick foam piece that stays over the screen and the buttons and sticks are protected. The textured grips on the sides feel really good and it’s comfortable to hold. Highly recommend getting this for your steam deck. I haven’t ordered the fan attachment yet but that is definitely next on my list.

   I’m mad I didn’t look sooner. The wrap around case itself adds a lot of security in the grip of the steam deck without being super intrusive. It’s a very firm soft plastic, I think. The texture on the grips is great. Overall, the case doesn’t inhibit anything about the deck. The ports and vents are unobstructed. The power and volume buttons are covered but maintain their tactile feedback. The kickstand feels strong enough. Time will tell. The cover fits snugly. It requires some force to take off, but then you can rest assured it won’t come off in a bag. There is padding against the screen as well. Only slight negatives. It does require a bit of effort to install and remove the body. Put the bottom in first and out last so that you’re working it on and off from the top. Just be careful of the triggers and shoulder buttons. Also, the rear buttons are shielded, which is good for protection. But with my big hands, it’s slightly harder to get at them. But I honestly think I’ll just get used it fast work that none of this is worth a star. It’s products like this that make me thankful for akiya-switch.com.

   Cover perfetta, calza perfettamente sulla scocca originale lasciando liberi i controlli, la copertura è sufficientemente rigida da proteggere lo schermo anche da colpi abbastanza forti (ha anche un cuscinetto morbido che separa la cover dallo schermo). Ottimo il grip, la vera sorpresa è la ventola che abbassa di 10-15 C le temperature in game. Raramente ho visto un accessorio non originale con una qualità simile.

    I’ve had dBrand’s Killswitch case (both the 1st OG iteration and the fixed version) for the Steam Deck for a while. It was solid, very good quality, but its high price (depending on if you get all of the accessories or not) makes it very difficult to recommend. As for the JSAUX mod case, I love the different options they offer. The most expensive option is more expensive than dBrand’s Killswitch travel kit (if you get all the accessories) but JSAUX’s most expensive mod case kit has more accessories that are much more useful like the fact that it can come with a battery bank, a cooling fan, a USB-C hub, etc. The kit I got was the cooler fan mod kit. It comes with a strap, the case, Steam Dock cover, travel cover, a 90 degree USB-C accessory, detachable metal stand, and a cooler fan with an adhesive attachment that lets you put the fan on a Steam Deck without the case. Costs 50 dollars US before taxes which is less than dBrand’s most basic Killswitch essential kit that costs 60 dollars US. JSAUX’s design is better than dBrand’s. It’s much easier to remove JSAUX’s travel cover. There is cushioning inside the travel cover that will actually protect the Steam Deck screen better. You don’t need a USB-C extender or adapter for the opening on the JSAUX case unlike with dBrand’s case. JSAUX’s metal stand is less bulky than dBrand’s. It is detachable. It doesn’t have microSD storage slots inside the stand like dBrand’s stand does but if you have a JSAUX Steam Deck carrying case, then it doesn’t matter. All JSAUX Steam Deck case mod kits comes with a strap that lets you put a battery bank on the back (no need for adhesive like dBrand’s does. dBrand’s mechanical mount is 14.95 US btw). I wanted the cooling fan because unfortunately my Steam Deck has the less efficient Delta fan inside. I would change the fan inside for the better Huaying fan but this is my 2nd Steam Deck. I’m afraid to open it up and mess it up again. The JSAUX cooler fan works. It is a bit noisy but if you have the sound volume high or let’s say you have a tower fan blowing in your room, you’re not really going to be bothered as much by the JSAUX fan. The grips on this case are just as good as the grips on dBrand’s Killswitch case. 2 things I don’t like about this specific kit is the fan can be a bit loud (as mentioned before) and it is a fingerprint magnet. You can see some of my fingerprints on the travel cover and on the back of the case in a couple of the pictures. Even the cooler fan is a fingerprint magnet so make sure to have a microfiber cloth on hand to wipe when need be. I’m not putting down dBrand. I like dBrand products. I’m still using dBrand’s thumb stick grips (I like using them although maybe for a lot of people they are unnecessary) with my Steam Deck. But if you want a cheaper protective case for your Steam Deck that provides more bang for your buck, JSAUX’s Steam Deck case kit is way better. Pros: more options, some options are much cheaper than dBrand’s, more well thought out design/modular, less bulky, travel cover easier to remove, more bang for your buck, fan does help cool your Steam Deck Cons: cooler fan can be a bit loud, the travel cover + cooler fan + back of the case are fingerprint magnets EDIT: 9/7/2023 (more dBrand info) Before anybody tells me that dBrand has the dock adapter kit now, I see that they do offer that which includes a USB-C extender. Problem is that the adapter kit is an extra $7.95. I’m not a fan of that but at least they offer that now (even though you can get a USB-C extender for cheaper than that). Oh, apparently the adapter to fit your Steam Deck with the KillSwitch case doesn’t automatically come with the essential kit. Come on dBrand.

    I purchased the basic set with the case, front cover, kickstand, and silicone strap. I haven’t used the kickstand or silicone strap much, but they feel like they are good quality.

    The case is great. It fits well, good cutouts, and has a good amount of grip. I like that the volume and power buttons are not recessed so they can be pressed easily. I have used the front cover quite a few times when traveling. It is much smaller than the standard zipped case that comes with the Steam Deck, but still protects the screen, thumbsticks, buttons, and triggers.
