   The HORI Split Pad Compact controllers pairs wonderfully with the switch. You are able to attach each side onto the console with ease. They are wider, lighter and more ergonomical than the joycons when using for a longer game session. The lavender colour is spot on (looks the same as pictured.) The attachment USB controller setting also works very well and responsive when connected to the switch dock.
   Will recommend to anyone looking for an alternative to joycons.

   One thing to note, it doesn’t allow for the switch itself to have a protective case as the controllers have a elongated plastic part quite flush to the top. It’s not a deal breaker in my opinion but a good thing to keep in mind.

   Super cute and the ergonomic grip is nice but I saw it included the pad and everything however I was under the impression you’d be able to use them like regular joycons not attached to the device/power system. I like holding my joycons separate from each other to stretch My Arms and you cannot do that with these. They also feel so light and hollow plastic-y. Why would they create these to not have the capabilities of doing so? I don’t understand why it’s so expensive for a wired controller. might as well just get a cute case for ur current joycons. You can get the same ergonomic grip with a pro controller. Got one from tj max for 20 bucks. Works perfect has the Nintendo seal. This controller is more expensive than actual joycons

   There really isn’t much I dislike yet, or I haven’t discovered any issues yet other than it has to be connected to use rather than wireless… but I don’t mind that too much as it has a decent size cord attachment. Sadly I don’t play too many games anymore, basically just ACNH and once in a while the mario games. I guess as a senior 72 years of age, a daily dose of ACNH is plenty for me!!

   I’ve come to learn that joypads/split pads are better for my hands than regular controllers. I have arthritis, and for my needs, this works because it’s much thinner and I don’t grip it as hard. The color is beautiful, too. I did get the warranty, but I’ll update this review if I have any issues with it. It’a also lighter weight than my wireless controllers (makes sense), so yet another thing that’s a win for my hands.

    I love the color of this controller, it is very pretty. It is also my favorite color. It fits my switch well, but i have to take off the case when i use the controllers. I also don’t like how it has a little of a plastic feeling to it.

    I bought the Hori Splitpad, and once I received my parcel, I noticed that it has been opened up previously.
    Once I opened the box, I also noticed that there was a scratch on the left joycon, thinking that it might be defect — however, the rails of the joycon definitely confirm that these are a used product, because those markings can only come from constantly attaching/unattaching the joycons from the Switch.

    It’s frustrating spending full price on an old/used item when it was not mentioned whatsoever in the description of the product.
