Not the worst mount. Comfortable in the hand and the buttons worked fine. However the sliding tabs used to adjust the fit broke on the first try. Didn’t affect anything besides it now rattles with the broken pieces. If it’s on sale it’s probably worth it, anything over 20 find something better.

I waited to write this review until after we used it for a couple months. It is very comfortable to hold and the Switch fits securely in it. The buttons are easily accessible. My son preferred using this instead of the joy cons.
I got this for my son as a Christmas gift. He used it daily but alternated between this and joy-cons. After nearly a couple months of use, the A button kept sticking and would not work. We cleaned it and it helped for 2 pushes of the button but went back to not working. The other buttons still work OK. Unfortunately, less than 2 months later, he is no longer able to use it because of the A not working.

At first I couldn’t figure out how to get it working, thank goodness for the instructions. All you have to do is turn on the wired controller setting in Settings and plug it into the switch, easy. As far as the grip, it’s pretty comfortable, way more than the joycons that’s for sure! Plus turbo mode makes shooters, or in my case like Metroid, much easier! And auto is perfect for racing games. Lastly, my regular old fashioned switch, fits perfectly in and stays pretty firm in there too. Just would not recommend waving it like a fan and going crazy though, it will pop out.
