Can carefully craft a planet cube perfectly suited to developing and evolving life, wait till the kettle boils( a few million in game years) and return with a cup of tea as a vengeful god and see how quickly I can make all life extinct.
Power-trip aside, it is extraordinarily addictive. I had been waiting for the switch version as I tend to now, it feels like having two versions of the game being able to take with you. The tutorial is a slog, and it throws way too much at you too quickly, but when it eventually lets you play and learn by doing(extinct-ing?) and you get a feel for it, it just feels really -pleasant.

A cool game that is ideal to be played on the go. You basically have a cube and everything you do has a consequence. Build a waterworld and you end up with lots of marine life, however animals do go extinct and it is up to you whether you keep them alive or allow them to die out. In many cases new species take their place. So far i’ve started out with a blank world, put in some water and mountains and the world has come alive. I’ve so far gone from microsopic life to Dinosaurs. It is a simulation of our planet in essense you get mass extinctions over time and end up with bare worlds, the key is to keep an eye on temperature and if you get it right the end goal is you end up with Humans. It is fun easy to pick up game and is another great addition to the Switch. I definately recommend this game.
