Good game. For the amount of time I spent playing it and enjoying it vs the price, it was very well worth it. There are fun little side achievements and surprisingly the writers wrote a ton into the story so as you replay each time you die (you always die) the story and characters have different things to say.

It’s fun…but if you’re new to the Switch (like I am) you’ll die a LOT until you get used to the joycons. And dying a lot is part of the game. Good graphics and a fun (for Hades) storyline make for an enjoyable time.

Bought this game on pc last year and loved it almost instantly. I’m a big fan of greek mythology and being able to recognize that characters instantly without knowing their name was a lot of fun. I bought this on switch only for the collectors items, mainly the artbook. When I received my package I was upset thinking they forgot the book only to find out the artbook was merely a small paper pamphlet inside of the game box and not a big hard cover like I assumed it would be. I guess it’s my fault for not looking into the details, but I am still a bit disappointed that it couldn’t of been a bigger book. The soundtrack is good, but I could of steamed it on spotify. The game itself really isn’t any use to me since I already own it on pc and I was planning on giving the game to a friend anyways. Basically I spent this money and got almost nothing in return. The only reason I’m still giving this product 4 stars and not less is because it’s literally a hell of a game. Great gameplay, art, music, story and characters. I might be disappointed in the collectors items, but at the end of the day I’m happy in giving a little extra money to support an awesome game.
