   So I got this for my younger brother and he loves it but he lost it in the snow and we live in Alaska so it froze and was probably water damaged I assumed yet we found it a few days ago and it was perfectly fine no damage or anything no sound damage no screen damage the buttons were still nice it survived months in the snow and just turned on some gameboy type durability

   I bought my daughter this Nintendo Game&Watch in June, she wears it occasionally on the weekends, and it never fell off. In July, after a month of use, the screen was damaged. I called at the beginning of August to report that the product was not working. They told me to call Nintendo. After more than 1 hour of calling and practically trying to prove that it was a Nintendo product to Nintendo customer service, they accepted that it was a Nintendo product. Now I must pay $37 for the repair, if I attach the purchase invoice I do not have to pay them, and additionally, I must send the product to be repaired at the authorized service center. How much time have I wasted? Why was the product damaged after a month of use? What a bad service, what a bad product, there is no guarantee as such in a new product.

   I bought this lat minute for my 4 year old for Christmas. Now in March, many of the other toys have long been discarded to the wayside while the Game and Watch is still his favorite of all time, granted that’s only 4 years for him, but still. My husband and I will often find ourselves playing it too whenever we find it unattended.

   If I didn’t gift this to my child I could definitely see buying it for myself. It has all the nostalgia of your childhood with the same frustrating inability to save your progress. You just play until you run out of lives and then start over again from level one. That’s probably partly why it’s so addicting.

   Anyway, I definitely recommend this. You’ll have a blast remembering all the old secrets and hidden shortcuts in this game. And if you want to get a durable and affordable game that’s also decent quality for a kid, they’ll probably like it too.

   Growing up, this was my favorite game to play! The small console is perfect for Long airplane rides or trips! My only complaint would be after you use up all your lives you have to restart all the way over! If there is a way to save your progress, I have not figured that out!

    I think I won for my husband’s birthday. He loved the originally game. This was so legit. A little smaller than I originally thought, but I read other reviews & they mentioned the size. It really isn’t a big deal. It brought back so many memories & HOURS & HOURS of enjoyment.

    I’m so disappointed in this little game console. It is so much fun, until it stops working. The right button to move forward doesn’t work half the time and we’ve only been using it for 3 days. My son was really excited when he opened this on Christmas and now it’s just a frustration because not being able to move forward obviously makes you loose a life in the game. It’s just not worth buying.
