This is going to be a tough review to give, so I am going to try to be neutral. I am not a gamer but my son (15) does enjoy gaming. He’s definitely not a pro or anything. I thought this looked neat and figured he could give it a try. He was impressed by the look of the controller. He states it is heavy but it feels pretty good quality (I’d hope for the price!). He tried it out and said it’s interesting, obviously he is used to playing on game console controllers. So there was an adjustment to this but his initial feedback is that it seems pretty cool and he likes it.

I got this ‘FLYDIGI APEX 4 Wireless PC Controller’ because my previous (third party junk) controller gave up the ghost. I should have bought one of these APEX 4s to begin with.
Okay, so it came out of the box ready to rock. I didn’t charge it before testing and didn’t need to; it had plenty of juice and still does, even after messing with it on and off all day.
The build is solid and it’s easy to tell it’s made with quality materials. It even has a nice satisfying weight to it. The buttons and joysticks are responsive and smooth, and I really liked the way the buttons felt.
I’m also very impressed with the customizability; I can adjust tension and sensitivity with ease. And this is going to be my go-to for all racing games from now until the end of the world. I can feel the road under me when I play and the controller actually responds without lag, unlike my old equipment. When I use this one I know it’s going to deliver without getting me frustrated (which is a big deal considering I’m a complete basket case when I’m gaming).
I like the look, feel, responsiveness and connectivity of this controller, which was very easy to set up. I’ve got nothing but praise for this thing. Recommended.
