   I only bought this game bc I enjoyed the Gameboy Advance one so much and this had a similar play style. Most of the stories are beyond stupid though. I do not like the main character Alear’s art style at all. The enemy level scaling is beyond broken, just look at reddit threads and you’ll see. There is too much side nonsense going on. Most of the characters you’ll never be able to play with thanks to the broken scaling. The Arena is absolutely useless. They make it incredibly hard to obtain gold. It’s just a really poorly designed game from top to bottom. Overall I’d give the game a 2 star review but it gets one for having a trans character. Look, idc what you do in your life but I don’t need or want that in my video game, it’s ridiculous.

   For all the reviews complaining about overleveling and it not being challenging, play the game on Maddening difficulty, it gives an extremely interesting and rewarding experience, where everything you do has to count.
   The triangle weapon system is back which works really great in this game, and can stop units from countering for the rest of your turn allowing more strategic play.
   I personally loved the character designs, everyone looks great and you will definitely have your favourites.
   The story is average, but I’ve never thought Fire Emblem storylines where their strong piont. I personally enjoyed Awakening story the most.

   Great gameplay, great soundtrack, graphics are a step-up from Three Houses, cool to see some of the characters from previous entries in the Fire Emblem series, though a bit overused concept at this point.

   The story isn’t exactly anything to write home about, but they don’t always have to be. My personal gripe with the writing is it’s too cringe and weebish sometimes. Still better than FE14 writing, though.

   The game has very high replayability, in my opinion, with so many different character builds and gameplay styles to try.

   Love the new fire Emblem game. Refined the combat system from Fire Emblem Three Houses. The graphics also got a big boost, and the game has solid villains.
