   Legit why are the reviews bad? Unless I haven’t had it long enough. Been playing with it for about 45 mins to an hour and I’m in LOVE with it. My model is OLED. Very simple setup, people. Take your joycons off, slide the switch screen into this little babeh. And you’re all set. The thumb grips both being above the buttons takes getting used to, ESPECIALLY with monster hunter, but it’s so comfortable, I’ll get over it. 🙂 the joysticks are comfy and rubbery. This thing doesn’t feel cheap like my other controllers. No regrets. My switch FINALLY feels like a Playstation. Lol

   I plug my Nintendo switch into product perfect fit and everything was fine But ten mins later I started to smell an electrical smell coming from my switch and noticed that it got super Hot. I quickly removed my switch before any fire damage. I would not recommend this item

   Maybe having the abolish sticks on bottom instead of top would have been preferable but it’s not bad doesn’t take long to get used to.

   I have the original switch (not OLED) and it works well. Switch screen slides snuggly into place but not too snug to where it is hard to come out (when turned upside down mine doesn’t slip out). Charges without issue but does not fit in dock. It is pretty bulky, I would say if you have small hands probably not going to be very comfortable. Read until end: When I first started to use it there was a slight delay in game to my left thumbstick BUT BUT BUT then I noticed that I hadn’t switched the controller buttons (sitting behind the switch screen) to “SW” (they were still on the default setting in the middle of the two options. After switching the button to the right setting everything works great! No lag, much more comfortable to grip than the controller extension I bought and the button layout is way better (in my opinion) than the regular joycons. I ended up customizing my button layout to mimic that of a xbox controller (something you can do with the original joycons too in settings-controllers/sensors-button mapping)… and I find the switch much easier and comfortable to play now.

   This fit my Nintendo switch no problem. Had to read instructions because at first it did not work. Go into settings and turn on the wired pro settings. After that no problem. Great feel I have slighty bigger hands. Works real good with real awesome feel. Great quality and looks.

   This product was truly a too good to be true for me. I bought this almost a month and a half ago and it was a dream come true. A perfect handheld control device that worked for the switch.

   Yeah it clearly ain’t last long. Just today it stopped working altogether. I reached to plugged in my device to charge my switch and everything just stopped moving. Sometime the charger interfere so I unplugged it and tried again. This time not only did the controller grip stop working but so did my charger. Now both my charger that I’ve had for literal years doesn’t function properly and this controller grip is acting up.

   If I could get a refund I would because obviously this product does not last more than a month or two before it starts causing issues!

   I bought this controller to play my Switch OLED in “portable” mode. The JoyCons that come with the Switch are just too small for me, and even though I’m sure the rails that hold the JoyCons to the system are strong and durable, I was always worried about griping the Switch to hard and damaging the rails and making the connections loose. This controller was definitely the solution to that problem, and is now one of my favorite controllers to use! Pros: – Works with both Original Nintendo Switch and OLED Nintendo Switch (there’s a switch on the controller that adjusts the size to fit) – Easy setup! – Before using this controller, on your Nintendo Switch go to “System Settings” -> “Controllers and Sensors” -> Turn “Pro Controller Wired Communication” to “On”. You only have to do this once, then it works every time you dock it on the controller! – Allows you to charge the console while playing – Switch fits nice and snug when docked in this controller – Very comfortable to hold – Surprisingly light weight, but sturdy and well built – Joysticks are larger than JoyCon joysticks, have great precision, no drift, no dead spots – Unique Joystick layout – Both joysticks on top of the controller, D-Pad and Action buttons on bottom. – Action buttons have a nice click to them – Force Feedback (rumble) actually rumbles, rather than vibrates! – You can customize your button mapping in the controller settings on the Switch, since it’s detected as a real “Pro” controller! Cons: – Switch will not fit or work in Nintendo’s Dock with this controller on due to added size – This controller won’t fit in most cases designed to hold the switch with JoyCons, because this controller makes the unit as a whole quite a bit larger. – The D-Pad buttons are a little spongy, similar to a PlayStation controller. They work fine, but I personally prefer a more “clicky” D-Pad. – When using the OLED model, the game cartridge door doesn’t quite line up with the indention for it on the controller – however, it’s still accessible. – Not so much a Con, but I feel it’s a missed feature – this controller would be perfect if it had programable trigger buttons where the middle and ring finger rest – that’s the only oversight I can find though! Overall, I’m very happy with this controller, and would 100% recommend this to anybody that has larger (adult) hands and wants something sturdy to hold when playing portable. The joystick layout might or might not work out for you, but I got used to it pretty quickly. The best way to describe it is it’s very similar to a PlayStation controller, but the joysticks and buttons are on opposite sides of the controller. This DOES work on both OLED and Original versions of the switch – Just be sure to turn on the “Wired Pro Controller Support” I mentioned above before using this for the first time! Once again, I think this item is a great buy, the price is just right for it, and I’d definitely buy one again or gift one to a friend! Thanks for reading!

    I bought this wanting more of a pro controller feel in handheld mode, mostly for when traveling. I got excited when I found this but clearly didn’t pay very close attention to the pictures and failed to notice they don’t follow the positioning of the joy sticks from the original pro controller. I tried to get used to it but couldn’t. I’ll never use it again. Would not recommend.
