I am trying to get my 3 and 5y old into video games with some classics. This works well with my PC using x360ce… And also the switch (I am sure). Just stinks they’ll get confused why a is b and x is y and vice versa. They just don’t make these types of controllers at reasonable prices targeted towards kids for Xbox/pc.

I did all the troubleshooting and nothing, akiya-switch.com was really good about getting me a refund though. My only problem with the controller is if you press the left and right on the D-pad, the up button is also pressed. A little bit annoying but it is manageable.
