   Is controller is pretty good in a vacuum. It’s got nice feeling buttons and sticks. I especially like the triggers, which can be shortened using some switches on the back. Basically you can allow it to have a lot of travel like an Xbox controller, or change it to have very little travel like a Nintendo Switch. The bumpers are nice and clicky. I especially like all the connectivity options, which can be changed using a switch in the back of the controller. The paddles feel nice and are easy to press. In a vacuum, this is a great controller. However, at this price range is going up against some steep competition that arguably offer more features. Personally, this controller wouldn’t be my first pick in this price range, but if it has the features you’re looking for then maybe it’s for you.

   his has become my favorite universal game controller. My issue here is, where do I start? The game controller has a solid feel. It doesn’t feel cheap; it feels as good in the hands as any modern Xbox controller. The buttons, joysticks, and directional pad all have a firm and responsive feel. If I were blindfolded and handed this controller, I might mistake it for a high-quality Xbox controller, except for the texture and the paddle buttons on the back. Texture: The controller has a pleasant micro-texture that grips well in my hands. This detail doesn’t come across in pictures, but you can feel it when holding the controller. Paddle Buttons: The controller also features two paddle-style buttons on the back, similar to what you would find on more expensive game controllers. Compatibility: This game controller is compatible with Windows, iOS, Android, the Nintendo Switch, and of course, the Steam Deck—for those times when you want to play the Deck in Dock mode. You can switch between these platforms using a small switch on the underside of the controller. The controller supports Bluetooth but also comes with a USB dongle for use with older systems. RGB Lighting: The controller has built-in RGB lighting, which is a nice touch. Button Layout: One thing to keep in mind is that the controller was originally designed for the Nintendo Switch, so the A, B, and X, Y buttons are arranged accordingly. It works with other systems, but visually, the button layout reflects the Nintendo design. Battery: The controller has a built-in rechargeable battery, which is both a plus and a minus. I love that it’s rechargeable, but the battery is not replaceable. I would love to see the manufacturer make the next version with a replaceable battery to ensure the controller’s longevity, even if the battery needs replacing. Overall: I am VERY happy with this controller and personally believe it is worth the price for what you’re getting—a universal game controller. This controller now has a permanent spot next to my gaming laptop.

   I was looking for a controller for my Apple TV because there are certain game apps that can only be played with a controller. Make sure to read the instructions before using. Be aware that the instructions may be a bit overcomplicating. When pairing, look for device called “Xbox Wireless Controller”. Before that, make sure to select the correct platform you’re pairing with by using the switch located in the back. The feel and build are pretty good. The design is nice and simple. To save on power consumption, I turned off the LED lights, which you would definitely need to use the instructions to do so. For a casual gamer, this fits the need.

   Comparing this to something in the same $60 price range like the 8bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth wireless controller and the only thing I like about this controller over the 8bitdo is the ability to shorten the L2/R2 buttons.

   It is less ergonomic, doesn’t have hall effect sticks, cheaper feeling buttons, extremely awkward feeling back buttons, worse dpad, no seperate dongle or charging stand, and the worst part is it doesn’t have any software to change options. If you want to make a macro or change anything you have to input certain buttons, make sure the right buttons are flashing and then attempt to create a macro/adjust settings. They also made holding the home button down for 10 seconds what resets everything to factory settings, which is what every other controller uses to simply turn off the controller.

   Frankly, if this controller was $30 I still wouldn’t buy it.

   The controller is okay at best. PC mode and switch mode are the exact same mode which is switch mode. The controller does have great joystick accuracy with an 1 percent error rate and a 125 polling rate wired and around 100 polling rate wireless. The instructions does a dent job explain how to program turbo mode and program the 2 programmable back paddles, but sometime the 2 back paddles will act like a macro rather than a button input. This controller is average at best.
