   I honestly felt I was preordering the English version. Instead I got a Japanese version. After re-reading the description, it was my mistake. But, in fairness, the part that states it is Japanese is buried and I find that frustrating. The description now states “Import”. It didn’t before. As I said, my mistake. Not theirs. I like the game, even though I do not understand one bloody thing it is trying to say to me. 🙂

   Excellent game BUT … only in Japanese. If you cannot read Japanese, you do not know what you are doing, wasting your $$.

   Again, be sure you can read Japanese before you click “purchase”!

   Excellent game and so much fun, too bad they don’t have plan making English version. Plan cancelled, I heard.

   1と2の2作を遊べるのは大きい！ドラクエで定番のキャラやモンスターがたくさん登場して楽しい。ぶった斬る爽快感もある。
   まだ1しかプレイしてないですが、早くクリアして2を遊びたい！ハマります。

   PS4版をやり込んだものです。
   非常に面白く、近年稀に見る出来のゲームです。
   追加要素が気になり、スイッチ版を購入致しました。

   しかしやはり、PS4版に比べてグラフィックの劣化がどうしても気になります。
   静止画や差し込みムービーはさほど気にならないものの、バトル中のカク付き、fpsの劣化はどうしても快適にプレイ出来るとは言い難く、PS4版を再プレイする…という結果になりました。

   PS4を持っていない方、フレームレート60のゲームをやった事がない方は、さほど気にならないレベルかと思います。
   また、携帯モードであれば、こういうものか…という感じで、気にならないかもしれません。

   ゲーム自体は非常におすすめできるものなので、PS4をプレイした事がない方にはおすすめ出来ますが、個人的にはPS4版でしかプレイしたくはないですかね…。

   Gut umgesetztes Game welches von der PS4 geportet worden ist. Ist zwar japanisch aber trotzdem nicht schwer zu verstehen, was man machen muss. DRaufkloppen und XP sammeln 🙂

    This game is for the way I played it is like Phantasy Star Online that came on Dreamcast and GameCube. I am happy with the product even though it is in Japanese but it works on my Nintendo Switch. I did call Nintendo customer support and they said that even though the Nintendo Switch is region free it’s not a guarantee that it’ll work as they have not tested all software cartridges but they stated that it is region free. So my Nintendo Switch is from North America and it works even though the game is in Japanese. I find the game to be fun, which is important, I haven’t finished it but it’s fun.

    I gave this to my son who’s learning Japanese. The game is all in Japanese (no option to switch to English). Works well on any Switch (I’m in Canada). Exactly as expected.

    Some of my favorite games from this generation on one card.

    Hack and slash suites the dragon quest series nicely.

    It would be nice if the writing was localized to English but the trade off is better voice acting than the English versions.

    The online is still subpar but having both games and extra content on a handheld adds replay value.
