   It was great to experience this game, having been a fan of the franchise back in 2015. I used English translations on tumblr to play this game and appreciated the great voice acting. Only play if you like dark romances, as a lot of its content could be triggering.

   Loved this game for the longest time and could never play it because i didnt have the system. the only language i know is english, BUT they do have the routes and everything translated online so you can just google them for the first and second game that come in this edition! 😀 So even if it is in japanese, you can easily find the english translations for it now!

   My adult daughter purchased this as she loves the anime series and is learning Japanese as a second language. It is adult-themed but it has massively improved her conversational Japanese, as well as her listening and reading speed with hiragana, katakana, and kanji. She loves it, and is very happy with it.
   NOT suitable for children, no matter how much they pester you or beg you or insist that it is fine.

    **please note this game is only in Japanese** This one cartridge contains the first two Diabolik Lovers Games. I can confirm that this is playable on my US/North America Switch model.

    Menu: Some of the main menu items/categories are in English, while the rest are in Japanese. I believe there are tutorials online to show how to navigate all the more specific setting options if needed, but basic configuration (voices enabler, SFX and BGM volume mid-level) appear to be set to a good default from the get-go.

    Sounds: Right out the gate the music and voice overs are A+. There are menu options to play different BGM tracks as well, without having to unlock. So if you want to listen to any of the music it’s right there at your fingertips already.

    (I am completely unable to read Japanese, so I will be relying on the wonders of the internet to assist me with playing through.)
