   —Update 7/27/2021— Cooler Master received my broken headset on 5/25/2021 and it is now 7/27/2021. More than two months have passed since they received my broken headset and I still have not received my replacement. Yet akiya-switch.com shows stock and is selling them new. This is ridiculous. —Original review below— I really wanted to like these. I watched all the videos on them and they seemed to check all the boxes. Good sounding mic, removable/replaceable cord, no in-line mute/volume button, inexpensive… Exactly what I was looking for. However, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. First, they weren’t as comfortable as I hoped. I have a big head and need to extend the band all the way. It fit but felt like it would feel much better if it extended a quarter inch more on each side. The ear cups were big enough but just barely. I would say the comfort level for me was barely adequate. Additionally, the headset jack wouldn’t plug into my phone without taking off the case. Super annoying… I have other headphones whos cable plugs into my phone without having to take off the case. The sound was OK but nothing like my high-fi headphones. Also, the audio bled into the mic. During games people could clearly hear what I was listening to. I would describe the overall experience with this headset as “meh”. Then they broke… I’m not a design engineer but it’s easy to see how these broke. The junction between the earphones and head band is poorly designed. Just looking at it you can tell it will never last. When Cooler Master received the broken headset, they sent me a message that said, “the warehouse will be pulling the replacement product and preparing it for shipping.”. That was 16 days ago. I haven’t heard anything from them since. When I get them back, they are immediately going up for sale. It’s too bad… I hate leaving a negative review and I would have loved to love this product. Sometimes the truth hurts…

   Llevo un año con ellos y me ha gustado mucho , lo siguiente es respecto a mi experiencia de uso , tienen un buen sonido y se ajustan a diferentes ecualizadores según al dispositivo que los conectes , en cuanto a su diseño es cómodo al tenerlos puestos pero si lo usas por mucho tiempo cansan ,se apoyan en el cuello para descansar pero no son cómodos ya q te limita la movilidad y estorban si lo vas a usar para reposar en el cuello , pero si es solo para quitártelo y dejarlo en el cuello para responder y hacer algo rápido está muy bien , su cable de conexión es de 2 mts y ya con el uso del tiempo tiende a deformarse pero es normal , no es nada grave , es debido al exceso de uso prolongado, las copas solo las he cambiado 1 vez , pero es debido a que sus gomas de agarre se desgastan de tanto uso , recomiendo este producto para aquellos que desean escuchar música sin exigencias , en cuanto a su micrófono funciona muy bien , sobretodo para videojuegos , la calidad es decente y la ubicación espacial del sonido en videojuegos le va muy bien para identificar pasos , movimientos y todo alrededor , no he tenido problema alguno en ellos. Recomiendo este producto para música casual , salir y escuchar música en tus viajes y sobretodo lo destaco para uso de videojuegos. No está a la par de auriculares de gamas superiores, pero cumplen muy bien en todo.

   I’ve been using the MH650s for years now and I’m confident enough to write a review on them now. I’ll keep it simple: The sound quality is decent and the microphone (the main selling point) is amazing. This microphone is one of the best headset mics you’ll find, hands down. But the reason I cannot give this product a 5 star review is because THEY BREAK. The durability of the headset is very poor. They typically last about a year before the left headphone snaps off. Believe me, I’ve gone through 4 PAIRS over a few years of these things and it’s a consistent issue. Buy it for the beautiful microphone but just know in the next year or two, you’ll have to buy a replacement. Once again, this is particularly about the MH650s.

   Looking for a comfortable headset with a great microphone, clean-neutral audio and non-muddy bass sound? This is the headset for you.

   Honestly, I’m completely impressed with the quality of the build and even something a simple as a well-weighted and braided cable. The MH630 could be called a best value at under $100 and that may imply some cheapness to them – but when they sound as good as headphones at 1.5 – 2x the price – well there you have it. They also cover a 15 – 25,000 Hz range, so also impressive versus the competition. These aren’t heavy bass sounding headphones, so look elsewhere if that’s your goal.

   I use them primarily for gaming, but music also sounds great. They can easily be driven by your PC’s onboard audio, but if you really want to kick it up a notch then consider something like the Astro Mixamp Pro TR if you are a heavy gamer and want chat-mix, mic side-tone and more power to the audio.

   This is Barry’s daughter speaking! I am an avid gamer and was looking to improve my experience. This is the first headset I have invested in, and it has blown away my expectations.
   I was careful to read through the reviews here and on YouTube to ensure my money was worth spending.
   I have had the headset for only a few weeks, but it has fit my every need. They fit comfortably, and I am a huge fan of the cushioning on top. I love the sleek style and the removable microphone. The mute feature also comes in handy when in calls with friends. The microphone quality and audio quality is pretty fantastic, too. The noise cancellation is not the absolute greatest, but I personally don’t have a problem with that; it works fine for me. The actual muffs have a lot of mobility and move very easily, but again, that hasn’t pushed any of my buttons. I had no issues with delivery or damage.
   I am impressed with the quality that comes at this price. I too was skeptical, but I did my research. If you have not purchased a headset before, I highly recommend this one. It is a great starter, and I hope it lasts for a long time.
