Perfect for for the PS Portal. Holds the device nice and secure without marking the screen in any way. Haven’t bothered with the build in charger as I generally use a quick charger anyway.

The only thing I have an issue with is if I leave my switch plugged into the charger until fully charged, it will drain power from my switch to charge itself. If I remember to take it off charge then its wonderful. Very sturdy, I accidentally dropped a drink on it and it protected my switch perfectly. I get about 2 to 3 charges out of it before I need to charge the case again

I don’t have a steam deck I have a Rog Ally, so my review will be based on that, it fit my Ally well, has a nice screen protector when it’s inside the case and velcro strapping to hold it in place, built-in battery works great, I’m able to power my Ally but power consumption doesn’t quite keep up with standard usage on a Rog Ally I don’t know what the power usage would be like on a steam deck, has a nice little pocket where I’m able to fit a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse inside, and I’m able to prop up my gaming console inside it to use it like a little portable laptop, casing seems well made and there is a four light power gauge, and USB power inputs and outputs so that you can charge the battery and run the device at the same time however most devices don’t seem that they’re able to keep up with both at the same time, I’m very happy though with a unit well made lots of features and protects my gaming device well.

Perfect for holding the switch and it’s accessories – was able to fit the little controller piece for the sides in the upper section as well. Little clunky when it comes to having the charger plugged in and propped up to play but overall, exactly what I was looking for. What a great idea, having a power pack built into the case. This makes it perfect for travel and recharging on long plane trips. The power charger is 10,000 mAh, so you’ll get many charges before you have to recharge the power pack. The case itself is sturdy and nice looking, with a zippered storage compartment and elastic bands to secure your device. In order to offer a case for both Switch and Steam Deck owners, some compromises had to be made. First, this case is huge. It’s much wider than it needs to be to accommodate a Switch. The Steam Deck is much wider, so that’s why this case is wider. On a positive note, If your Switch uses a Split Pad Pro or grips (as shown in the photo above), this case will easily accommodate that, unlike most Switch-only cases. The product description says you can play in tabletop mode while charging. For the Switch this is less doable, because the charging port is on the bottom of the device, making the Switch not very stable with the cable inserted. It probably works better on the Steam Deck, because I believe the charging port is on top. If you have a Steam Deck, this is the case for you. If you’re a Switch owner, this is a great case if you can live with the compromises and don’t mind a big case.
