Visually this game is beautiful and the concept of using ancient Chinese mythology as bosses and alike I thought was cool and original. Looks are not everything though, I found the gameplay and combat to be kind of sloppy and frustrating. I thought it would click after a few hours but just didn’t. It just feels kind of generic imo. Not a bad game but not great either

i’ve been looking for a game to match the fast-paced combat of Odin Sphere and Muramasa the Demon Blade and i preordered this hoping to find that kick-ass combat experience again.
i was worried it might end up being similar to the dull and slow-paced combat in Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin, but Bladed Fury (thankfully) is amazing.
combat is lightning fast and chaining massive combos is both easy and immensely satisfying!
if you’re a fan of either Odin Sphere or Muramasa the Demon Blade, then you absolutely need to play this!
