This is the second battery I’ve tried, and unfortunately, it will not charge my ROG Ally X. The case itself is well-designed, but a major flaw is that the built-in cable cannot be swapped out. This means you can’t test whether the issue is with the battery or just the cord. Very disappointing, especially at this price point.

This works absolutely perfectly with my ally x. I was worried when attaching the outer rubber case I wouldn’t be able to use it in my hard carrying case or that it wouldn’t fit in my dock but it worked perfectly for me as long as I didn’t have any accessories on the back of the case or dock and adds a bunch of extra grip as well!! When I’m playing at home the add on cooling fans really help bring down the temps alot and also have a cool look since it has RGB as well. The only thing I would have a problem with is that the straps for the battery pack don’t lock securely like an Apple Watch but don’t plan on using that accessory anyways. If you plan on using it I would just be careful as whatever your holding in that strap may fall out but I everything else on this product especially this version of the product is really good and works perfectly!!

High quality and works perfectly!! Strong metal kick stand and well made stand on the fan. Tight fitting case with comfortable grip, it really feels like it won’t slip out of your hands. Doesn’t seem like i will ever need to but I would purchase again!!
