   El combate es intenso y frenético, muy al estilo de la compañía, teniendo toques en toda su existencia que recordarán a otros títulos como Rising Revenge o Nier: Automata, pero introduciendo a las legiones cómo la mecánica más novedosa, éstos funcionan cómo armas que complementan la que trae el personaje, la cual sólo es una en todo el juego y tiene tres modalidades, y a la vez cómo un compañeros, lo que le da un toque muy único.
   En ésta ocasión en vez de tener varios botones para que nuestro personaje ataque, tendremos que, con un gatillo controlamos los ataques de nuestro o nuestra protagonista y con otro a la legión -puedes alternar entre cuatro diferentes opciones de mapeado determinadas- y los combos se basan en el sincronizado movimiento en entre los dos personajes, añadiendo variables al girar el stick, esperar un momento antes de volver a presionar el gatillo, mantener presionado el gatillo, etc. Si las cosas se hacen bien, el resultado es una hermosa danza mortal entre el personaje protagonista y sus legiones para arrasar con todo en pantalla, eso sí, presten atención al tutorial y recomiendo practicar en el área de entrenamiento. Ésta profundidad se va introduciendo al pasar las dos primeras operaciones y después al ir mejorando el arma del personaje protagónico y las legiones. La dificultad en modo normal no es muy alta, aunque en ocasiones puede que tarden un poco en conseguir esa deseada S+ y la dificultad difícil que se agrega a cada operación después de completarla ofrece todo un reto.
   El juego también introduce que otras mecánicas las cuáles casi todas enriquecen la experiencia cómo un poco de plataformeo o hacer de detectives -recuerden que al final somos policías-, sin embargo otras pocas, cómo las misiones de espionaje, bien se las pudieron haber ahorrado o dejado en el apartado de secundarias dónde si bien la variedad no es nada del otro mundo, es cumplidora, éstas pueden ir desde sólo bajar el globo de un niño a hacer puzzlee de acomodar coches, puede que algunas de éstas no quieras volver a saber de ellas -la de los coches posiblemente entrará en esa categoría-, también puedes pasar de ellas o pasarte un buen rato haciéndolas para obtener una recompensa extra o completar el juego al cien porciento y hay que tomar en cuenta que el realizar o no éstas, no afectan la calificación final de la operación.
   También el postgame, aunque no es muy extenso, es bastate disfrutable, básicamente son muchas misiónes de puras hordas. Y no olvidemos la banda sonora, la cuál es bruta.

   First of all this is the EU version. It doesn’t matter to me though. Secondly, I am blow away by this game. It is one of the best games if not the best game that I have played on the switch. The graphics are stunning and the story is fun. I am surprised that Nintendo hasn’t marketed this game heavily. It deserves more recognition. Buy it while you can because it’s hard to find this game in new condition.

   I had just been exposed to COVID at work by a coworker and really needed to get this as a last present for my husband as he was talking about getting this game again. Yes AGAIN. He sold his previous copy when things were a bit tougher and he missed playing it. So far he has played probably a total of 12-16 hours on it again as well as working so I will say it is a great game.

   It’s Platinum Games. There’s no one else that makes games the way that they do. This has a great story and characters. The graphics, sound and colors are impressive on the Switch. The combat is fast fluid and frenetic. The entire experience is unique and quickly pulls you in to save humanity from the Chimeras.

   Fantastic combat! Great characters, world-building, and art design! The story itself isn’t as interesting as that of NieR: Automata, a game that shares much of the same development team, and one of my favorites of this generation. But the combat is much more interesting IMO. Also the Detective gameplay is more interesting than similar systems in other games, outside of LA Noire. Fantastic Switch exclusive! Maybe the best not made by Nintendo.

   This is an absolutely amazing action game. I will say that it can be quite complicated with the list of possible commands. I’m only half-way through the game and the number of options for abilities is beyond my ability to fully comprehend and utilize in a battle. But it’s fun!

   Story has been engaging with good development. I have a few small qualms with the game from a story development standpoint, but it is one of the best games I’ve ever played on the Switch. For being a Switch exclusive, it is well worth the buy!

    Now, the game case and the game cardtridge are in good condition with no scratches or any damage whatsoever, even the game card doesn’t seem like it was used before and the game runs perfectly normal on my nintendo switch, but since I paid expecting this to be a brand new game and because of the packaging I can’t confirm if it really was brand new, I’m substracting that 1 star.

    Just finished file 11 of Astral Chain and I must say that the game is well worth it price point just don’t think about being anything like bayonetta or nier. As it’s own standalone game I’m impressed with platinum games in creating this ip along with Nintendo. Just from the gameplay & story was well thought out from using the legions (stands) to the actual characters & its actions & platforming sections itself for being on the #NintendoSwitch i can’t wait to see what’s next from a sequel in this cyberpunk-persona series from platinum games.
