   This item does work on the switch with a thrid party dock. It works while it’s in handheld mode as well. Many reviews are saying it doesn’t work with the switch, but apparently the official dock seems to be what is blocking it. The dock included in the picture however works flawlessly with the arcade sticks. Sticks are okay, if a little lose. Buttons are okay, if a bit on the soft side. But the housing is fantastic, all metal. This is a serviceable stick for 2 players. For the price, I’d recommend.

   Was debating on getting this for months and finally broke and bought it…and instantly regretted it. It shipped fast, looks slick, and the build is awesome, sturdy, heavy and metal. Feels great. However…it’s not functional.
   Despite the easy plug and play setup, the controller is only recognized by my Nintendo Switch about half the time (2P side can’t be recognized at all) and the longest I’ve been able to play without it turning off with no warning was about 5 minutes. The LED lights at the top are constantly switching between green, white, yellow and red, both solidly and flashing, but I have no idea what that means as the instructions have no explanation guide. For the price I paid, I expected nothing less than perfection. Super disappointed.
   I have reached out via the included customer service email and I will update as soon as possible. If its something like this is just a rare, defective unit and can be replaced by a working one, I can understand that and will update this review with higher stars if it works as expected. If they can’t solve the issue or they don’t reach out in a few days, I’m sending it back for a refund and the single star will stay.

   It was literally “plug n play”! I couldn’t be happier with the quality. I wasn’t sure if it was going to work with pandora box. But it came to life as soon as I plugged it in to the usb port. It auto recognized it immediately. The quality is 100% better than the original one that came from retro shooter.

   It is impossible to configure, I downloaded as many drivers as I found on the internet, I did what the manual indicates and I tried it with thousands of emulators and games and none of them work well, the arcade serves every button but it is impossible to configure correctly, which makes it a complete rubbish, if I were you I would think 10 times before buying this arcade model. I have a win10 pc and it is useless, the arcade cannot be configured, if you buy it you lose your money because it arrives functional, I will not deny it, the buttons work but for example, if you are going to play the king of figther, the lever does not work, but yes They play Tekken on PS22 and 3 so the lever works but the buttons don’t. If they play Mario on Snes, half of the buttons work and the rest of the lever doesn’t. If they play Metal Slug, the lever only serves to point up and back and forwards. with one button and to shoot with the star button, I mean complete garbage because with the distance that each button has makes it impossible to play it, even if you map the buttons it will not work. so think 10 times before buying this arcade model Es imposible de configurar, descargue cuanto driver encontré en internet hice lo que indica el manual y lo probé con miles de emuladores y juegos y en ninguno funciona bien, el arcade sirve cada botón pero es imposible de configurar correctamente, lo que lo hace una completa basura, yo de ustedes lo pensaría 10 veces antes de comprar este modelo de arcade. tengo un pc win10 y no sirve para nada el arcade no se puede configurar, si lo compran pierden su dinero porque llega funcional no lo voy a negar los botones funcionan pero por ejemplo si van a jugar the king of figther no funciona la palanca pero si juegan tekken de ps2 y 3 entonces funciona la palanca pero los botones no si juegan mario de snes funciona la mitad de los botones y la palanca de resto no, si juegan metal slug la palanca solo sirve para apuntar hacia arriba y atras y para adelante toca con un boton y para disparar con el de star, osea una completa basura porque con la distancia que tiene cada boton lo hace imposible jugarlo asi hagan el mapeo de los botones no les va a funcionar. asi que piénselo 10 veces antes de comprar este modelo de arcade

   The build quality on this controller is absolutely superb, and while the sticks might be a bit lighter than I’d prefer, the sticks and buttons all feel great, especially after a short break-in. If you’re into modding, the steel case opens easily with just 5 screws, all the internals use proper wiring harnesses, and all the connectors use plugs, so parts can be swapped or serviced without the need for soldering. It should be noted that the bottom strip contains a strip of blue LEDs that have no option to turn off, but they aren’t distractingly bright, and can be easily disabled by just unplugging their harness. While this controller uses one USB connection per player, this ensures compatibility with anything, in my case, a MiSTer FPGA setup that expects separate devices. You really can’t go wrong with this controller, and it’s a steal at the price.

   This joystick has a long USB cable, about 10′ long. Also included in the box is a USB-to-USB-C cable, for using this controller on other systems. The buttons and joystick are audibly clicky, so keep that in mind. The included instruction manual gives you some brief information about all of the buttons, the basics of how to set up this joystick on a number of game systems, etc. I hooked this controller up to a Raspberry Pi, and after adjusting some settings, I was good to go. The controller was responsive, and functioned as I expected. The method mentioned in the manual for setting turbo for certain buttons while using this Joystick on a Raspberry Pi worked fine. Also included in the box are some table clamps which I did not use because I like to pack and put away video game related stuff I have, and not leave it all out in the open when not in use. Also, I have a table that I place joysticks on top of, and this joystick also has non-slip feet underneath it. I also sometimes like to sit back with a joystick, and rest it on my legs. Something that is absolutely great about this joystick, is how easy it is to get inside of it. The screws are easily accessible on the outside. Oh, and the outside is made mostly of metal. Overall, it’s a solid joystick controller, that is easy to service if desired. This joystick is built well, responsive, and I like that the case is easy to open in case you want to replace any switches, etc. It’s a good addition to the other controllers and joysticks I have. A lot of people prefer Game-pads, which are nice, and take up less space, however for certain games, such as many 2D Fighters and Beat ’em-ups, a Joystick can be a bit more comfortable and familiar. It’s similar to how one can play Tempest without a rotary dial controller, however, Tempest just isn’t the same without a rotary dial controller, which is why I have a rotary dial controller. In my experience, having the proper controller can make a difference in the enjoyment of certain games. Overall, I am happy with this joystick. the joystick is built well, is easily serviceable, it functioned fine with a Raspberry Pi, and the price is decent.
