   The product listing and the label on the product I received said “Japan Import.” The product listing also showed katakana on the package. The product I received is definitely not a Japan Import, though—but rather a European import. Unlike in the pictures on the product listing, there is no katakana here—but instead there are a ton of European languages. That said, the product itself seems to be of fine quality. Amiibo aren’t region-locked, so the region of import does not affect the functionality. The fact that this is not of the advertised region would matter only to an in-box collector, and I personally am an out-of-box collector–so for me it’s not an issue. Others may wish to take note, however, depending on their preferences.

    It’s a Samus Amiibo. What’s not to love? Works just fine, no problems. Doesn’t matter what region you play your Nintendo console in, Amiibo aren’t region-locked.

    The Amiibo packaging was damaged around the corners, and it is also advertised as a Japan import. The one received is the European version. Glad to have it either way, but the collectible value is definitely gone as in package.

    The appearance of the amiibo is fantastic. The pose is striking and the detail is great. I received this about one month ago in preparation for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. I scanned it in to both Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart when I got it and it worked. Now that I have Ultimate I tried scanning it in and it does nothing. I tried on the other games and it also no longer registers anything there. Again this looks wonderful, but I bought it to be able to play against an amiibo Samus in Smash Bros. It came well packaged and unopened. It has been sitting on my shelf with my Dr. Mario amiibo (which works just fine) since I got it so it has not gone under any user damage. Overall rather disappointed
