Bought it on sale digitally and I did finish it. It was decent. Looking forward to the 3rd one coming out soon.

It’s a fun game, but can be complicated for people that aren’t used to the style of how it works of solving the case. But the graphics are not that bad and the plot line is pretty good for being a Nintendo switch game.

I was so excited to play a new Poirot game, and I am a big fan of Microids since playing Syberia years ago. The first game of this series was decent but had its issues. Thankfully I am used to awkward maneuverability with other Microids games. This NEW game, though… you would think a newer game would have worked out some of the bugs and improved upon mistakes with previous games… Not at all the case with “London Case.” Right from the start, the graphics are patchy, the game is laggy/buggy, and the load times are HORRENDOUS. This game is almost unplayable. What makes things worse, it’s basically only 5hrs of game time, most of which is spend in a loading screen. There are so many better Poirot cases to cover as well, this one seems like an off choice. I’m disappointed to say the least. This new chapter of Poirot games from Microids seems like a step backwards.

I bought the game via Nintendo store and was excited to play the new game but frankly this has got to be the worst detective game I ever played. I had high hopes for it to be better than the first one but it was worst! The good things about it was the navigation, animation when engaging with the characters but there are moments when their mouths are not moving when speaking. I liked where you get to travel different locations to question suspects. Now the bad parts, the discoveries part of the game is frustrating to point I was clicking everywhere to find a clue. I felt stuck in many parts of the game because it is not progressing to the next tasks to where I have to reboot the game to proceed. I was hoping to play Hastings like the Sherlock Games where you would sometimes play Watson but no. Overall, this game was short and felt very unfinished and I doubt I will finish this game. Poirot deserves better.
