Game came packed in perfect condition, as soon as you put the cartridge in it updates the game and all text in the game is in english. (All voices are in Japanese) and theres a ton of content and even more to unlock, if you love Japanese arcade games and fishing games you will love this.

This game is amazing! The beautiful graphics and engaging fishing action is unlike any aquatic adventure game I’ve experienced before. The attention to detail for each species is remarkable and it really makes me feel like a true angler. I do not own the optional fishing rod controller but the joy-cons work just as well. I’m always looking forward to new updates to expand my fish encyclopedia and for collecting new card packs!

I loved this game. I gave it three stars because this is a completely different version than the North American version available on the eShop. The North American version is called Ace Angler Spirits, is digital only, and contains this entire game, plus extra stuff.
I don’t even know if this game is supported any longer because of the new version. Apparently they’re supposed to periodically add new tables and stuff like that and I don’t know if they ever will.
The only advantage of this game versus the full North American version is the size. If you’re conscious about the amount of space available on your Nintendo switch, always get the cartridge version. Only a few companies (Bethesda and Capcom so far) have released a physical version but offered no cartridge to save space.

It is in Japanese with English subtitles. I heard that there is a language pack that you can patch but I haven’t dealt any further with that. But it is a lot of fun and definitely get the fishing pole accessory
