When i first got this controller i was like 59.99$$is that worth it but then I did some research and I figured out that it is really good so I brought it and i needed a controller anyways for my switch it arrived and I played with it for hours and it was worth it it comes with a charging dock and under the charging dock there is a compartment where you can put the usb in And connect ability was very easy the software is not very good though or that might just a me problem and also if you are serious about gaming you can buy the ps4/ps5 kontroller freaks and put them on the joysticks overall this controller is really good also this controller has Hall effect joysticks witch means it won’t get stick drift as fast stick drift means that the controller’s joysticks get weak after a lot of rotations on the stick so it wears out and it makes the move on its own

Pretty decent ergonomics, ive never used a nintendo controller but id say its definitely the second best ergonomically, xbox one controllers being the best, it feels good just different since ive only been using xbox one controllers for years now, the buttons all feel great, none of the buttons are annoyingly clicky which is great, they feel like stock xbox controller membrane buttons which is great, silent buttons are a feature to me, i bought this controller because i needed a controller that will hopefully last, i always have bad luck and get stick drift on every controller ive ever owned, so no more, if it dosent have hall effect its not an option, allot of the xbox style controller ive seen online and watched reviews on didnt check all my boxes, hall effect, non clicky buttons, wireless preferably 2.4ghz, premium design. the controllers i was close to getting that had good reviews had clicky mechanical face buttons, the ones that didnt were wired or insanely high price tag, this nintendo style controller checked all my boxes, so hopefully it lasts, will update if it dosent.

I LOVE this controller for playing old retro AND new games on pc. It has a fantastic battery life, i’ve never had to worry about my controller dying, even after long sessions because of the included dock. The dock is high quality, it has a pin system that charges the controller when it is seated on top. Most pinned chargers i’ve used that come with wireless mice and other controllers, usually wear out fast but this one stands the test of time (so far). The controller feels great in the hand but the side grips are narrow. Some may find that uncomfortable. The D-Pad has a little tactile feel to it and can pull off Hadoukens. The biggest gripe I have with this device is it’s software. 8BitDo really needs to revise it, it’s clunky and sometimes will not detect your controller even if it is connected. It’s almost perfect and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a daily driver that won’t break the bank.
