It is Simply that “Perfect”. If you like the PlayStation style controller then do not hesitate to grab this nostalgic beauty of a controller. Comes with multiple modes as well for 8Bitdo Dongles OR Bluetooth modes. AND two programmable buttons on the back of the controller.
In my opinion the only potential flaw or downside is that the buttons could be a bit smaller on the back to have to four total back buttons to program.
Other than that. Get yours today before they become harder and harder to purchase cause these seem like they are selling quick from most available sellers

Controller is very comfortable and has a good weight. Overall construction is excellent.
The d-pad is easily the highlight of this controller. It is almost a 1:1 copy of the d-pad on the SNES controller.
The Hall Effect sticks are very smooth, with a good amount of travel. You can use the free Ultimate Software available on 8bitdo’s website to adjust thresholds to your liking.
I have Bluetooth solutions for all of my retro systems, and this controller has worked flawlessly with all of them.

This is by far my favorite controller. I’ve never been much of a fan of the Xbox One controllers and usually used PlayStation controllers. However, my $70 PS5 controller now has stick drift within a year of use.
This is my third controller from 8bitdo; not because they keep breaking but because it’s my favorite controller. The build quality is very high, the joysticks feel great, and no complaints on the connectivity between Nintendo Switch, Android, PC, or Steam Deck. Very comfortable to use with great battery life.

I had trouble with it, initially. Although the bluetooth synced right up with my android devices, it didn’t work right in windows. It turns out that it has a “pairing” button near the usb port that you have to push to sync with windows, for some reason. And I initially downloaded the wrong software app for windows, for some reason they have more than one. But that being sorted out, I love the software, I have both the android and windows versions. The hall effect sticks are great, it feels good in the hand, and the software lets you configure it any way that suits you, and has 3 preset slots. I love it.

The rumble of the controller feels like it is from a gamepad from 20 years ago, at least i could adjust it with the app so it’s not as annoying. The buttons feel nice, the controller is really comfortable, and the clear purple color is cool.

Es un control versátil, tiene un switch para cambiar de modos entre los que tiene el Xinput y Dinput para la pc, para Switch y Android, cada uno de estos tiene 3 perfiles modificables a través de una app en el teléfono.
Estoy encantado con la cruz porque tiene un clic muy satisfactorio. Muy buenos sticks y gatillos análogos, también me gusta mucho cómo se sienten los L1 y R1 al presionarlos pero la forma podría ser más cómoda, aunque es algo menor.
Lo uso principalmente en Xinput en la pc para jugar emuladores de PS1 y GBA. A veces en Switch.

Looks and feels good, not cheap feeling at all, D-Pad feels better than the one on the ultimate controller. Really like this bluetooth pad, colour is nice and plastics feel good, sticks and buttons too, can replace the ABXY face buttons by ordering them from 8bitdo if you want the xbox layout buttons but then you lose the transparent green look to the originals.

I initially bought one of these a long time ago, but I found it to be causing some issues while using it. I imagine they must have made a few modifications to those bottom trigger buttons I didn’t like, because it’s way better than I remember. Either way, it’s a fantastic controller to say the least. Very comfortable, and perfectly balanced. I’ve had no issues with it whatsoever, and it’s now my go-to controller for the Nintendo Switch.
