   I have the 4k Gamer Pro daisy chained with the mClassic and man this is an awesome combination. I finally can say I enjoy playing docked on an OLED. I am using the highest settings on the 4k gamer pro with the added anti-aliasing from the mClassic. This device works amazing without the mClassic as well. Just plug and play! It upscales the resolution on the Nintendo Switch games from 1080p to 4k! When using the 4k Gamer pro and mClassic you get anti-aliasing with 4k upscaling. It’s a game changer! It’s like we are getting every game remastered! Smooth textures, deeper colors, more detailed imagery. To get this to work you need to use the HDMI cable that came with the OLED variant, or you need a high-speed HDMI cable. I’m using an akiya-switch.com Basic high-speed cable (the HDMI 1.4 cable that came with the classic Nintendo Switch at the time of purchase will not do 4k 60). If you decide to daisy chain with an mClassic the order goes as follows: mClassic plugs into the switch Then plug in the 4k gamer pro to the mClassic Then plug your high-speed cable from your 4k gamer pro to your tv. Make sure the green light is lit up on the mClassic and the blue light is lit up on the 4k gamer pro….You have three settings on the 4k gamer pro. I’m using the highest setting (click the button 3 times) and boom….your tv information will show 4k (2160p) and if you have an LG OLED, you see the frame count of 60. Again, this is brilliant without the mClassic but if you already have an mClassic let it join the party as well! Enjoy gaming everyone!

   It does what I wanted it to do. I knew that using this alone would upscale and sharpen low-resolution games, but also severely pronounce jagged edges. Thats why this should be paired with the mClassic, which first anti-aliases the image. It certainly improves upon the image sent out by the mClassic, making things look sharper and of higher resolution. Although I thought that I wouldn’t, I definitely did notice sharpening artifacts in the medium and high settings, so I will be using it in the low setting, which still looks great. This is not a substitute for native 4K, and even when paired with the mClassic, the low-resolution base image shines through at times. That being said, it’s a definite improvement and loosely resembles a native 4K presentation (when combined), is better than using just the mClassic alone, and I am satisfied with the result.

   I have this paired with an mClassic for my Sony 4K OLED and it definitely looks better than the vanilla Switch output. If I had to put a percentage on it I would say a 20-30% improvement in graphical fidelity depending on the game. It is definitely not a “Switch Pro” or anything like that, but the improvement is enough to satisfy me until we get there.

   In terms of the investment, $200 is steep, and if you put an mClassic next to it you’re looking at over $300. If you have money to burn, and mostly play docked I would recommend it. Otherwise just wait until we get the next Switch.

   El dispositivo funciona, pero no es lo que esperaba, pues realmente es un realzador de bordes, si vas a settings en tu tv y subes la nitidez es el efecto que consigues, en la configuración de la entrada, si aparece que estas viendo imagen en 4k, pero el resultado final no es el que esperaba, lo recomiendo solo si eres de esos que les gusta una imagen exagerada con ciertos colores chillantes, si bien el efecto de ver un personaje mas marcado en pantalla se opaca al no ver nada a lo lejos por remarcado de la imagen. Actualizo hoy 13 Enero 2025, ya no funciono

   In my opinion this is best used with the mclassic or daisy chaining for best results just in my opinion but if we’re talking about stand alone Both mclassic and 4k gamer pro is great but when dasiy chained together makes them pure gold 🔥 In my opinion 4k gamer pro is like a sharpener that has sum HDR to it you’ll be able to tell playing environmental games but just a game sharpen dosen’t make the quality good smoothnes does to which is where the mclassic fixes that. The msclassic helps with the smoothing to make the perfect combination smooth sharp with sum hdr that’s also been smoothed down when daisy chained with 4kgp I would definitely recommend getting both and not just one of each bc both alone can’t beat both chained together 💯

   was excited to try this along with my mCable gaming edition HDMI cable, as i’ve read the reviews on here stating how great it is. However, when I plug this into the female to female hdmi coupler on my mCable and turn it on, there is no image or signal any longer. different hdmi cord on the tv end of thing, still no signal when you turn the 4k gamer pro on. Decided maybe it was the mCable chain. Wrong again, as plugging this directly into the switch dock resulted in the same loss of signal when the 4k gamer pro is turned on. Turn it off and the signal bypass right on through. My switch settings are to 1080p for TV. Just stick to an mCable or mClassic as this is almost twice the price and doesn’t even do a damn thing.

   Ich habe mich vor dem Kauf ausgiebig mit schriftlichem Rezensionen und Videoreviews zu dem Photofast 4K Gamer Pro auseinandergesetzt. Jedem sei die Kundgebung seiner Meinung natürlich gestattet, gar keine Frage! Aber nachvollziehbar finde ich sie trotz der vielen Arbeit, die in manche Tests und technische Evaluationen im Rahmen Rezensionen gesteckt wurde, in Anbetracht der tollen Leistung in realitas nicht!
