   This is must have for any Nintendo Switch owner. It’s a Real Time Strategy game that is lots of fun. Command large armies of cute ant like creatures called pikmin that help you gather fruit, battle creatures solve clever puzzles and more! Best of all you can even play with another friend on the couch via local co op! Even all the downloadable content from the wii u version is packed in. Also 3 levels of difficulty for any challenge palette (hardest has to be unlocked by beating hard difficulty). So whether you’re a casual fan or looking for a hard core challenge pikmin 3 deluxe delivers. Enjoy the beautiful scenery, gather the fruit ( which looks like you could pluck it from the screen) and enjoy the adventure! A definite must have!

   Mi hijo trajo el nombre de pikmin a la casa, no se de donde lo supo, pero desde entonces él a estado buscando imagenes de pikmin en internet y las dibujaba. También, hacia imprimia las imagenes, las recortaba y realizaba juegos con 4 niveles. Él colocaba las imagenes en el piso y trataba de derribarlas con una canica desde cierta distancia. Pues se ha estado portando bien por todo un par de meses asi que decidí comprarle no solo pikmin 3 si no tambien pikmin 4. El 5 llega hasta en julio. El tres le llegó ahorita y anda super feliz, tanto que se le sale su corazoncito de felicidad. Ya anda jugandolo. Aparte de que se anda portando bien tambien me anda pidiendo frutas ya que en el juego los caracteres recolectan frutas y a él se le antoja. Mi niño tiene 8 años. Recomiendo que se fijen si es pikmin para nintendo, wii o lo que sea que ustedes necesiten. Todo super bien con la compra, tiempo y calidad.

   I was really excited to see this game come to the Switch, and got it shortly after it was made available. If you’re a fan of Pikmin games, you’ll like this for sure. In addition to the main storyline/quest, it also has several side-stories/modes that you can play through. If you’ve never played Pikmin, but like puzzle games with a lot of multitasking/micromanaging, you should check this out. You can play solo or co-op, both of which I found enjoyable. It can be a quick playthrough if you’re not interested in playing for completeness. But it also has pretty good replay value since you can choose to go through it again and again trying to complete 100% as fast as you can. Either way, I loved this game!

   My 5 year old is a gamer and he loves this game. He beat the demo multiple times before I got this for his half-birthday. There are some times that he asks me to read for him but mostly he has learned through playing around with it and watching YouTube videos.

   For reference, he’s been playing the switch for over a year and is accomplished at Animal Crossing, Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, Pokemon, and all the Kirby games. He has a little trouble with Crash, Spyro, Splatoon, and (winning) Mario Kart. He doesn’t understand Mario Maker at all. If your kid is along the same skill-level, they would probably enjoy it. There are nuances that make it fun for older players too.

   The only downside is that my kid goes 100 on his interests and also wants toys of the games he likes. Pikmin toys are hard to find and can be very expensive. (I got a red Pikmin, blue pikmin, and Olamar for about $40 on eBay, out of box.) This probably won’t be a concern unless you anticipate needing a Pikmin Birthday party or Halloween costume- you’ll have to get creative!

   Family friendly, appropriate for all ages. Simple enough for a younger player but enough depth and replayability to entertain a proper adult. If you enjoyed the GameCube originals back in the day you’ll have an awesome time with this, but what’s super cool is no previous knowledge or experience with the series is required whatsoever and you could just as easily have this be your first Pikmin game. This is a super cute, lighthearted franchise that is easy to recommend to casual gamers and hardcore enthusiasts alike.

    I have a bit of bias here, but Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a must for anyone who enjoys real-time strategy games. It is extremely unique and has quite a bit of content to enjoy. It is definitely designed to be played multiple times and to gradually improve at it; with its Story and Mission Modes. It could also be a fun game for someone that also would like a game they can play with a friend. There is new content and VERY enhanced controls to its original release on the Wii U! The game also has various difficulties for those who just want to more casually explore it, or for those who really want to push their optimization of movement and planning. On top of this, it is also a game on the go that you could introduce to others and maybe even create a new enthusiast of the series.
    If you are looking for a game with a very long story or a single experience that you finish once that is worth your money, you may not want this game, as its Story Mode is short. Think of it more like an Arcade experience of a Short-n-Sweet adventure that could easily be replayed for years to come. Again, a great title to anyone’s Switch collection!
