I’m honestly really (pleasantly) surprised how good the port turned out. The resolution dips on handheld at times (particularly on grind sections and in some cutscenes) but the framerate is consistent, I haven’t had any lag or dropped inputs; overall it simply works. It is also a little quiet on handheld – I had to turn the volume nearly all the way up to hear everything. But honestly for a (most certainly rushed, I mean c’mon it’s Activision after all) port I expected much worse. It’s nothing like the NST/SRT ports, and if they had ONLY released this game on switch you’d probably not be able to tell anything was “wrong”.
That’s not even touching on how brilliant and gorgeous this game is in general! The art style is fantastic – honestly no surprise from the devs who made Spyro Reignited – and the platforming is some of the best in the franchise. Some of the collect-a-thon aspects get a little repetitive (N-verted mode especially), but you don’t have to 106% the game to enjoy it. I would easily consider it the best game in the franchise. Overall, if you have a switch, and you like Crash Bandicoot, it’s a no-brainer: get this game!

Hablando del port en sí, yo lo consideraría digno, ya que realmente en modo Dock se ve bastante bien y casi no hay caídas de frames, hasta ahora solo he notado un ligero bajón de FPS en cinemáticas, nunca en el gameplay. En portátil se sigue jugando muy bien, realmente es un Port hecho con esfuerzo

The game overall came in great with no delay and a really good price. The game itself (aside from the splash screens) ran way better than I thought it would. You can see many dots in the picture, but they aren’t that noticeable if you are just focused on the game (and maybe isn’t as apparent on TV mode but I haven’t tried that out). Reason I rate it a 4 is the completion part which is outrageous and super difficult. Everything else is great. Highly recommend for a game to challenge your platforming skills.
