   Achtung, der PC erkennt ihn als “Switch Controller” oder “N64 Controller” . Man kann am Controller durch Kombinationtasten als “X-Box Controller” Configurieren. Ihr müsst das unbedingt beachten, ansonsten wechselt der Controller ständig um und die Tastenkombinationen am Emulatoren funktionieren dann nicht mehr.

   Good controller, but the manual is pretty misleading and badly worded. To make it short, how to swap between pro controller and N64 mode is badly written.

   Despite what the manual says you have to press the “swap button” and B at the same time.

Thanks to the scalpers and it always being sold out I figured I would never play the N64 on Switch. This is great. Yes it is not the same shape but it does what the N64 controller would have done.

   Really comfortable controller, I’ve been using it for a while. However, the stick tends to get stuck sometimes in a certain position rather than snapping back to the center. Really unfortunate as I do like how the controller feels.

   If I could give 4 and a half stars instead of 4 I would. Controller is heavier than I expected in a good way. Feels good in hands. A little lighter than a nintendo pro controller. buttons feel good, analog stick works well. At first I thought it was off but it functions like an original n64 stick, just took me a little while to get used to it again. most of my issues with this controller are with me and not the controller such as using the + instead of big red original style start button in games. That said there are things that are not great. The cap of the analog stick is already discoloring and staining a bit. The sticker on the back is slightly off center (Not a huge issue but it bugs me). If you accidentally hit the mode swap button on the back it will register as a second controller on the switch and you’re dead in the water till you fix it. There should be a way to swap the left bumper and z button. I see what they were going for with the z trigger but if you’re going to make a controller in this style there should be an option to have L function as Z or the right Z function as R. Other than those things very happy with the purchase.

    Getting this controller was a major upgrade to playing N64 games on Nintendo Switch Online. I had been using the Nintendo Pro Controller but it’s just not set up to work ideally with the wonky N64 control layout. Enter this controller. Set up exactly how you want a controller to be for N64. And the software on Switch recognizes it as an official Nintendo-brand N64 controller.

    This controller is in a proper configuration and feels good to play with. The colors match the OG well and it feels durable. Works with the N64 channel on the switch. Two nitpicks: the left shoulder button needs to be held kinda hard for it to register (this is most likely an issue with mine and not an issue with the design itself) and the buttons/texture need some work done. If the casing had the same texture as the original controller I’d be over the moon. As it is the casing is very smooth. Also, the buttons are matte and aren’t beveled at all. Minor issue and more of a tactile/aesthetic issue, but if the buttons were gloss and had the same shape as the OG, this controller would be 10/5 stars. As it is though, still 5/5

    Feels good in the hand, especially the buttons and the d-pad. I had a bad analog stick on mine but after contacting support directly (not via akiya-switch.com), they immediately shipped me a brand new controller with a working analog stick. The stick is good but not great. Very comparable to what Nintendo is shipping for it’s NSO users though. Also, this feels great with the older NSO games on offer.

    Bought this because I heard it is one of the best controllers to use to play N64 games on the switch. I agree that it is. It’s very comfortable to use. Playing N64 games with this controller just feels right. The rumble is amazing. But I did try to pair with Blue Retro Bluetooth adapter for the 64 and it will not connect. But I read that u have to update the firmware on the dongle. So I just use it to play games on the switch.

    I love this thing. The joystick feels like a Playstation controller, with really nice response (I had to run the calibration on the Switch). It has a good feel to it.. not cheap or flimsy. My only gripes are 1) the buttons feel.. deep. I would like a more clicky type feel, personally. 2) the macro for swapping the triggers (I like having the right trigger be my z-button) is a little wonky, but it works.

    Make sure to keep the directions, as some of the functions are not very intuitive.

    I was trying to play some N64 games on Nintendo Switch Online with the Pro controller, and I found it very confusing and decided to get Nintendo’s N64 Switch controller. What a mistake that was. Although no longer confusing it is an ergonomic nightmare. I read some reviews and decided on this controller. What a relief, it is very comfortable to hold.
    Pros: Button colors and button layout match the original N64 controller, but the joystick has been positioned for ease of use and the Z trigger has been moved to below the both R and L triggers. It paired with my Switch immediately. No wires. So much more comfortable to hold than the N64 controller, actually designed for a human.
    Cons: I’m finding the joystick a little unresponsive when trying to do fine small movements, but not to the extent that it ruins gameplay, but can be annoying at times.

    I have not tried playing the N64 games with the Joycons, so can’t compare it to those. But if you are finding that using the Pro controller is confusing or if you are trying to use an N64 style controller and find it difficult to hold for any length of time, I can recommend this controller.

    Bought this to play Delta emulator on iPhone 15. Works great ! Excellent controller and amazing product. Great direct technical support if you need help. Tips: Requires a small and easy firmware upgrade that takes 2 mins to do. Make sure to run in “N64” controller mode as the Bluetooth connection name, and not “Xbox Controller” which it can also perform as, when running N64 games.

    El control funciona bien para la Nintendo Switch, con mi iPhone no logro hacerlo funcionar, conecta pero no reconoce los botones. En fin para pc y Nintendo ningún problema lo recomiendo.
