Excellent game. It reminds me of a cross between Zelda, Fez and Outer Wilds. Difficult- even on ‘easy’ mode, but great fun. Looking forward to putting some time into completing this. The actual graphics are a bit fuzzy, like with Zelda Echoes and Switch Link to the Past and there are noticeable frame rate drops, but nothing to distract from the enjoyment from the game. The only negative is that the game box arrived damaged, but akiya-switch.com sorted this to my satisfaction. Recommended.

This game looked like a fun little adventure game when I picked it up. All the extra content fooled me. I thought it was going to be well put together like the cover art and booklet, etc. When playing the game, it is extremely difficult to know what you are doing. What’s the objective? I don’t know. The in game instructions and signs are in the games own language. So good luck figuring out what to do or where to go. The idea behind the game sounded so fun (it says find the instruction booklet as you go) so I thought I would be figuring out buttons and moves as I go, but then I get in this maze of a world that I have no idea where to go or what to do and it just doesnt lead you well. There are too many “tracks” you can take and you have no idea if you are progressing in the game too fast or if you are getting the necessary equipment you need to beat enemies etc. It’s just very confusing. Not to mention the game graphics remind me of a gameboy game. I expected more.

Tunic est un jeu coloré qui s’inspire des maitres du genre de l’ère 16bit. Magnifique et assez exigeant, l’aventure offre un excellent challenge dans un style à tomber!

The most beautiful and fun game I’ve played in some time. The soundtrack is incredible in helping create atmosphere and the number of puzzles and original thinking makes this such a great little adventure.

This game is fantastic!
If you’re an old gamer (NES generation) then you will appreciate the nostalgia of how the instruction booklet is incorporated into the game. It made me remember all of the notes that I wrote in The Legend of Zelda booklet when I was young!
The gameplay is a mix of exploration, puzzle solving, and combat. The combat can be ridiculously hard, so beware of how the difficulty spikes when you meet a boss. You will die. A LOT. But the payoff is worth it!
The soundtrack is also amazing!
