   Okay so I’ve bought like 5 of this type of controller from different brands. I feel like Goldilocks one was too big one was too small one was too tight for my screen 😂 (not even joking it’s true). Benefits!! —————- 🔆LIGHTS (OR NO LIGHTS!) In my opinion they should advertise more that this can just be a white controller if you want it to be. Which works so perfectly for my adhd because some days I want stickers and some days I want lights and some days I want nothing. When you use the lights it’s great that you can dim them or make them bright. It makes it fun to use and also sometimes when I play when my room is darker the screen feels weirdly bright and having the controller on a low light setting REALLLLY helps. 💪SOLID. So solid. This thing is made SO WELL. I’ve dropped it and put stickers on it and had to wash it off cause I doodled on it with pencils. It is a great device. 🔌WIRED. I stupidly kept buying the wireless controllers because typically wireless means less cords. With these controllers WIRED is what you want. This one is wired meaning the screen of my switch plugs directly into to the controller so I can wake the switch by using it as if I had a normal controller. I can also charge it through the base. If for some reason you don’t get this one keep in mind not to buy a wireless it’s such a hassle you have to reconnect the devices every time you want to use them. 💸 MONEY. This one was cheaper than … all the other ones I’ve bought lol. I can’t believe I didn’t start with this one first. 👌SIZE (I couldn’t think of an emoji for this one haha) . It is PERFECT. I have big hands for a girl and the switch by itself feels like I’m gonna break it (not to mention the wiggly joy cons). This feels solid and fits in my hand perfectly. The other ones I bought were weirdly wide. Like all of them. ⚪️🔸🔻SHAPE! Thank god I’ve found the ergonomic controller of my dreams hahaha. I used to get such bad fatigue in my hands when playing. I don’t feel it at all with this because not only is the shape great, but it’s not heavy at all. Feels the same as the switch in my opinion just… so much better. Downsides – I can’t really think of any but I don’t want to seem bias so the closest thing I can think of is that it doesn’t have a light to indicate when it’s turning on. But that’s not even a problem because you plug it into the switch hahaha and if I’m being honest I really hate that the other ones I’ve used have a blinding blue LED light pointed right at my eyeball on the front of the controller 😂 that being said this comes with a charger so I thought I’d add it because I plugged it in and was like hmmm no lights. Long story short this is the one!! Worst case scenario you return it and I’ve bought other funlab products and they have great customer service. Just save yourself the $100+ I spent on similar controllers cause this one wins hands down.

   In short, this is a very solid custom Switch Handheld Controller. It looks and feels great with my OLED and all of the buttons and joysticks are very comfortable and smooth to hold. The colours look great too. They’re a nice mix of vibrant while also being subtle enough to not be distracting. I really like the variety in the amount of options this controller has, with the 7 different colours and the breathing light mode. The brightness can be adjusted too, in case it’s ever too much. The charging port is a nice touch, since it lets you play games while charging with the controller attached. The buttons are also super satisfying to click, way better than the stock Switch JoyCons. There’s also some additional macro buttons included as well, which allow for virtually endless combinations. The included charger is an added bonus too. Overall, this is a really sleek looking controller design, and feels like a big upgrade from the standard switch JoyCons. It’s filled to the brim with customization, so you can tinker and customize the controller exactly the way you like. Nice product, no major complaints here.

   Cool grip case, pretty comfortable to hold, lights up all pretty and feels decent, no problems yet. Only complaint is I wish they would have moved the charging port to the top.

   This Zelda TOTK or tears of the kingdom Nintendo switch Joycon replacement controller is way sturdier than it looks at first glance. It shocked me how weighty it was which is a good thing because it feels like I could drop my Switch from high up and it would be fine. The lights are really cool and I especially like the breathing light function. There are 7 colors and I think the best one is the green one. The buttons are nice and clicky so they are easy to use and the whole thing is really comfortable to use even while charging since it charges in basically the same spot as normal. One issue I had with it was that it can be a bit finicky to connect to the switch itself since you need to slide the screen into the socket and you can’t really tell it the USB-C port is too high or too low which is a shame because that’s the only way to connect the controller to the switch as far as I know. Eventually I found a way to make it consistent and smooth but it wasn’t perfect. Also the joysticks sometimes wouldn’t register my movements on the main menu and it would take a few seconds before it would start working again Overall, I think it is a really great switch handheld controller since it is so sturdy and comfortable to use.

   I really enjoyed using the Funlab Switch Joycon Controller. Although it is a bit different to connect than normal switch joycons, the feel and comfort of the Funlab joycon controller makes playing games in handheld much more enjoyable. I wouldn’t say my hands are too big, but they are not small enough to hold normal Nintendo Switch joycons without holding them awkwardly. The shape, sticks, and buttons are much more like an actual controller and allow for playing handheld to actually feel comfortable. I love the satisfying click to the buttons. The grip on the sticks and snap back when letting go made it feel much easier to move in games compared to the stiff slippery sticks on the normal joycons. The d-pad feels really nice compared to those small buttons on normal joycons as well. I love the colors that I can easily switch on the Funlab controller. The triggers are a bit different feeling than what I am used to but still allow for a nice click down and feel reliable. I am a big fan of the simple yet very pleasing look of the Luminous Pattern. I personally do not really care too much for turbo or macros but both options are on there for anyone who does care for them. It came with a nicely detailed and easy to understand user guide for the controller. So, you will not be having to guess when trying to figure out how the macro or turbo controls work. I really enjoy the shape of the controller itself, because it really lets my hands hold the Switch without being in an awkward position. The way the Switch sits inside of the controller slot makes it feel sturdier and like you do not have to worry at all about the switch falling out. For anyone wondering, the controller has a built-in charger and comes with a cord so that you can charge your switch while using the controller. The vibrations with the controller do feel a little too strong at times, but you can increase or decrease how much vibrations there is. If they feel like too much all together then you can even just turn them off. Overall, the Funlab controller is a great alternative or replacement for normal Switch joycons if the normal ones are too small or if you are just looking for a more comfortable experience.
