I prefer this over the original dock. Works exactly the same but you can see the screen if you don’t want to hookup to a television. Charges the same. Its a better price than the OEM product. It’s smaller and better suited for traveling. I’m likely to buy a second one for a spare.

I don’t understand why there’s a power on and off button in the back in the middle when it probably would’ve been more convenient if it was right on the side. Anyways, it does what it’s supposed to do. It allows you connect to the TV I like the slickness of its look, my nieces and nephews that came to visit. Thought it looked so cool. I feel it warms up my room that it’s in a lot faster than the Nintendo dock. I’ve only had it for a small amount of time so I will update in a couple of months and see how it works. I’m hoping it works really well for travel so I don’t have to unplug The one that’s in my room. For the price it seems worth it. Let’s see if it lasts at least a year and then I will say it’s worth the $25 I spent.
The positive is it comes with Both cables to plug and connect to the TV.
Another positive is when you place it into the dock it clicks into place which makes it to where you have to hold the bottom to remove it from the cradle.
The only negative I have so far is that it heats up the room really fast. I don’t see it working very well for the summer.

My buddy and I plugged this up, figured it was worth a shot. It worked! For 3 hours. Then it stopped sending video. It knew whether or not the HDMI port was connected, but simply sent absolutely nothing. Completely disappointing. My guess is it’s luck of the draw. I’ll be returning this and buying one from a different company.

Ns only accepts their charging adaptors, or those style and can’t just use a regular usb c (like your phone usb c cord) but this one works just as expected.

Having a second switch charger on hand for charging for for docking in TV mode elsewhere is always handy. This one seems to work just as well as the original.

After plugging everything in using both the included dock and a third party dock from Skull & Co, the Docked/TV Mode works seamlessly. It seems to deliver the correct amount of power, which is absolutely necessary to prevent your Switch from bricking itself because the Switch DOES NOT use standard USB-C PD standards and using a conventional charging brick that doe snot provide the rated power evenly can be risky.

It definitely doesn’t look as nice as the original charger; the plastic feels a little shiny and cheap rather than matte, and the printed text for the charging info looks a little sketch, but it’s not enough to detract from it’s usability and it’s value price.

Being an avid switch user or any kind of hand held gaming system to be honest. you can never have enough of these adapter cords because just when you need one you will find yours with a loose connection or having been run over by a vacuum or a dog or cat having used it as a chew toy. so when I see these at a good rice i always tend to grab one so i will have extra one in the wings in case my min one is screwed up. it is something I recommend to be honest for any type of auxiliary item that requires a charging cord, keeping an extra is always a great idea and this brand is pretty high quality so definitely would get again.

This has been super useful for using with my switch and my travel dock. The cord and block are compact enough that they fit in the travel case I have for my switch, but also long enough that it can reach pretty far and be convenient to plug it in. The speed with which it charger my switch is also super fast. I would definitely buy this again if my other charger breaks or for a friend.
