The switch dock came quickly and well packaged. It was quite easy to set up and my switch/controllers slide into the docking area nicely. The glowing effect is really cool, and you can change it to multiple colors (green, red, pink, blue, white, orange, yellow). I like how you can charge up to 4 additional controllers as well, this comes in handy when you plan on playing with friends. Despite the controller charging area, it’s still slim and doesn’t take up much space either. I think this is a nice switch docking station, especially at this price point when compared to the actual Nintendo brand docks- that are too expensive (in my opinion). The only downside of this product is that it did not come with any connecting cords, but that is not enough of an issue for me to take away a star, as a lot of docks do not include this. Overall I would recommend this switch dock to a friend and I am happy with my purchase!

THE GOOD: ————– * Aesthetically, one of the nicer switch docks out there. The breathing led lights are awesome. * You can charge six joypads at the same time. Four on dock, and of course, 2 on the actual switch. * Charging red light, as well as solid green light to indicate fully charged joypad. * One hdmi output, two usb 2.0, one usb 3.0, and one usb-c to power the dock. * Very giftable. THE BAD: ———— * No power supply, but that is usually the norm with docks. However, this one is kinda pricey to not include one. * Cannot dock an original switch inside a case. I have a very thin clear shell, and it still would not take it. * Overall, we’ll go 4-Stars. I figure by now, accessory makers would take into account that people like to have their switches in protective cases. So I’m a little surprised I’m still having the same issue with a switch dock in 2024, as I did in 2020.

When you first open the box, it just looks like a black brick. Plug it in and watch it come to life! The colors and designs are bright and great looking, and it changes colors easily. It doesn’t include any cords, but you just need an HDMI cord and a USB c charger with sufficient power. It doesn’t affect how fast the switch charges, and allows you to plug in several USB controllers. I haven’t owned a Nintendo dock but this one works great. It seems very solid too.

The color changes it goes through when its on is super cool, the dock works just like the Nintendo switch dock with the exception of one issue I’m not a fan of. Maybe it’s a safety feature so prevent the switch from overheating? But when my switch is plugged in and turned off for long enough it’ll shut my switch off completely to the point where i have to hold the power button down for 20 seconds then let go, then press the power AGAIN to turn my switch back on. Its kind of annoying but thats really my only complaint. 4/5 stars. I’d still recommend it to anyone willing to put up with one little bug and especially for the good price

I can’t leave 0 stars , so 1 it is . I plugged everything up as instructions said – a no brainer.
Put my switch on the dock , turned on the TV, picked up my controller – 15 seconds of switch main screen on TV. No response from my controller. Then the switch turns off . I removed it from the doc to check it. It wasn’t hot , neither was the dock. I press the power button , no response. My switch is DEAD. I go to the help page – the number provided isn’t taking calls at this time. The web site provided – 404
Call akiya-switch.com – everything they can find is in Chinese and they can’t read it.
So now I’m out my game system – thank you akiya-switch.com for promoting crap on your site.

This is a cool visual upgrade for a Switch dock. There are a few colors you can set the front to, and the LED effect is nice to look at. As others mentioned, you do not get an HDMI cable/power cable for this, so you can’t use this to fully replace a switch dock as you’ll still need to provide the peripherals. It is nice to have additional Joycon charging options.

I own two switches but have 3 TV’s and a baby so depending on where he is, I might not be able to play when I want. This thing is really cool and I love the totk lighting. The lights can be a little uncooperative sometimes but its in the guest room so I don’t really care. Works just like the nintendo dock with the proper AC adapter and the additional USB and joycon charging ports are a nice little bonus.
