This is a really good remake/remaster/overhaul to the PS1’s Tactics Ogre. You can tell this was worked on by true fans. The story provides great character context and the levels are fun, yet challenging. Great for retro gamers and new gamers alike looking for something along the lines of Fire Emblem or Triangle Strategy. If you like this make sure you check out Final Fantasy Tactics.

This is an awesome port on the Nintendo switch console! The gameplay and story are stuff of legend and it absolutely reminds me of Final Fantasy Tactics with a somewhat simpler class system. Pretty straight forward controls but the gameplay is challenging, sometimes very hard. Which is awesome because alot of games today have the all too generic ‘easy button’. If you’re a gamer who grew up in the 90’s this game is a must have on your Switch console.

This game is not only a decent challenge but also comes with a massive amount of customization of classes and units that allows a myriad of viable strategies. Furthermore it has so many nice secrets and content content that it will keep you busy for a good while. That was already content in the base game. Reborn updates all this by rebalancing various things such as classes to increase their viability as well as streamlining the game a bit for quality of life. As well as updating enemy ai to increase the difficulty. This game is practically a must buy

The game is great in and of itself; the remaster did an overall fantastic job of bringing Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together back to life in a fresh and updated way. I remember playing this on PlayStation 1 back in the day and then PSP, so I’ve been a fan of the story and setting for a while. Having it on the Switch has been my favorite version of the game however, as the controls and nature of having both a handheld option and console option is great. The OLED screen on the Switch I bought makes the game look especially amazing in handheld mode, which is how I play it mostly.

Es un gran rpg con mucho contenido.
Es importante mencionar que es un RPG tabletop muy dificil pondrá a prueba tu conocimiento muy rápido (hay una batalla extremadamente dificil apenas en el primer capitulo que supongo es de la que varios se estan quejando) y aparte el sistema tiene level cap respecto a tu avance en la historia por lo que no se puede “grindear” o “farmear”… los desarrolladores saben esto y por eso implementaron un sistema tipo rewind (dragon pulse para los que jugaron Fire emblem three houses) utilizarlo es opcional pero si reduce la dificultad considerablemente,
La historia esta padre , es un juego largo (yo me tarde 50 horas en acabarlo y me falto mucho contenido adicional) adicionalmente hay varias bifurcaciónes lo que le da mucho valor de rejugar.
Lo malo es que casi todo esta enterrado en submenus por lo que si te brincas un tutorial después no sabrás como equipar magia , items o cambiar de clase.

A great remake of an already great game. Although there are some pretty major changes to the gameplay mechanics the core classic game is still there and I would say all the changes are for the better. The game is a little more user friendly and approachable, but still offers more customization and depth than any other TRPG out there. Music and graphics have also been notably improved. While my personal favorite TRPG will always be FF Tactics, this game probably the touchstone of the genre. A real titan and worth the purchase if you’re a fan of tactical RPGs.
