Graphics were horrible. There was no Tutorial to get you used to controls or explain how to accomplish tasks. So if you are new to ark you will spend a lot of time on google. Certain command sequences will suddenly stop working and will need you to reboot game before working again. Simply not worth the money.

I love playing this game on the Switch, but it seems as if they ported it over and that was all folks. It crashes CONSTANTLY reverting waaay back to last save to the point you manually save, then THAT crashes it. Sigh. But the steam version, I guess.

Please listen to me when i say this game is just about unplayable on Nintendo Switch. I love this game. When I say that I mean this game is seriously my favorite game ever made. I bought it for Switch hoping to take it with me everywhere.
The graphics for the switch are worse than the mobile version of the game. Plants and other geographic details are worse than the original Far Cry game which camec out in 2004. Wild life will at times be almost on top of you before it appears making survival against hostile dinosaurs almost impossible. It lags even in single player mode making walking anywhere a huge pain and evading creatures deadly.
Last there is only the original map and no others which is crazy considering they have been out for ages.
I brought this game on sale and wish I hadn’t even spent the money I did on it.

I love Ark on Switch in hand held mode is it a little blurry in big built up areas but it runs fine with hardly any lag, you can not expect ace graphic in hand held however the TV mode this is a great port, I have played this on PC and PS4 and I get much more enjoyment playing this on Switch.
