   After buying a new OLED while traveling, I finally caved to the hype I’d been seeing/hearing about the Satisfye Grip. When I saw this combo with the slim profile case, I thought it would be perfect for tossing into my backpack without being overly bulky. The good news is that it is indeed comfortable and very satisfying to hold. It also stands up on its own, albeit almost perfectly straight up so it’s not ideal. It also looks pretty great as well. A lot of thought clearly went into designing this product, as they even put rubber “cushions” inside the grip where the Switch is expected to make contact with it, so I don’t feel like it will be very likely to scratch your joycons or the mid-back of the console. That being said, the lower back of the Switch absolutely makes contact with the hard plastic of the lower “legs” of the grip. As there are no rubber cushions on that portion of the grip, the hard plastic surfaces inevitably rub together during handling and will cause scuffing/scratching. I noticed the scuffs forming after removing the Switch a few days into ownership to replace a joycon. I’ve attached a picture to show you exactly where the grip makes direct contact with the back of the console. The solution, albeit a bit crude, that I developed to protect my special edition console from further damage, was to simply cut a piece of crystal clear contact paper to match the shape of the console and place it on the back panel. I think you could probably also get away with lining the grip with some felt tape in that area as a better looking solution, but I didn’t have any on hand. I wish I could give it 5 stars, because it’s a pretty nifty grip, but this is a bit of a design flaw I think they should work to remedy with their next generation of products.

   So here’s the deal. The build quality of this grip blows all other grips out of the water. The nubs have this nice soft rubbery texture that makes even the sweatiest of gamers feel comfy. However, I have large hands and long fingers. So my middle finger ends up pressing up against the back of the grip and makes it uncomfortable to hold for more than 10 minutes. I tried different ways of holding it and none of them felt natural other than the way where my middle fingers touch the back plate. I ended up ordering this and the Neo Grip from Skull & Co together to see which felt better and for me, the Skull & Co ended up winning. I sent feedback to the Satisfye team and hopefully they can make a version for us with Kawhi Leonard size fingers. For most people with average hands, this should be the one to get though.

   I had one of these for my switch lite, and knew I needed one for my full size switch when I traded up. Comfortable, durable grip that has survived multiple children using it, and a convenient, slim case that easily fits in my backpack for travel.

   Pricey, but worth it. If you’re on the fence, treat yourself!

   I really wanted to give this 5 stars but I got the grip and case bundled together and the case forced me to knock it down a star (I’d probably give the case alone 2 stars). The switch, grip, and joycons all fit perfectly into the case, and the slim size is great, but the zipper is complete garbage. After a few months of light use, the tracks on the corner had completely worn out so that both zippers came off the tracks, rendering it useless (see attached photo). But the grip is a life changer. Without it I wasn’t able to play for even half an hour without wrist pain, but the grip is amazingly comfortable and now I am only limited by the battery life. I now use my switch handheld more often than docked, even at home. My only complaint is that my bathroom breaks have gotten longer. The thumb pads are awesome too, as they give the added control that I so desperately needed. An extremely frustrating section of Hollow Knight became almost easy because I could reliably point the joystick precisely in the correct direction while still keeping up with the fast paced action.

   Buying this was a no brainer for me. I bought the first version of this grip for the previous switch. It was amazing all the way. I still have my old one and is currently being used by my kid. Since it doesn’t fit the Switch OLED I had to purchase the new version of the grip. This grip feels amazing in your hand and prevent fatigue on your fingers. The only downside is the price is a little bit high.

   Let me start with saying the grip is amazing. It’s 100% night and day better playing with this grip. Without it the switch feels so awkward to hold and play. I didn’t feel comfortable at all. This grip solves that. The case is nice and simple. It’s more of a im taking my switch somewhere for the day type of case. It’s slim and definitely will protect it. It’s not for more than one day as you can’t take a charger with you in the case. The reason for the 4 star review over 5 is it clearly states in the description the joycon thumb pads are included. Well they are not. You get a case and the grip that’s it. When you paying $70 for a grip and case it makes you pretty mad that you thought you were getting thumb grips too and you did not. Just keep that in mind when purchasing. If I were to buy again I would probably just get the grip and get a different case to be honest as the price is dang steep for the case especially since I’m buying thumb pads that were supposed to be included separately.

   Muy resistente es estuche, duro por fuera y suave por dentro, sierre de buena calidad. El grip de plástico muy resistente y suave al tacto, muy fácil de meter y sacar la consola del grupo. Lo malo que no puedes utilizar el dock original de la consola con el grip puesto, tienes que cargarlo directo al cable o conseguir otro tipo de dock.
