Great Idea but needed more time in development. Low frame rate and poorly optimized graphics killed it for me. Ended up trading in for the Xbox series X version which was done right.

Great game layout, idea, structure, and playability with the upgrading and maintenance you do on the bike. BUT on the Switch the frame rate is so ridiculously low that it looks like the surrounding track is glitching piece by piece while the rider is the only “smoothly” moving object on screen. No sense of movement or speed at all. The red/white kerbs glitch so bad they appear to not move at all. Controls and everything are great, so this frame rate issue is unbelievable. GRID and WRC on the Switch are both beautiful games and don’t suffer in performance at all! Even MotoGP games work just fine with a reduced number of racers to 16 at a time. But RIMS can’t even manage basic frame rates in todays tech? Sad, but this was a waste of my money. And to think Switch charges $50 on their digital store!! INSANE
