   This is an excellent affordable controller. It syncs quickly and feels very comfortable. The joysticks have a great tension and feel very responsive. Although it’s not heavy, it doesn’t feel like cheap alternative. The battery life is optimal.

   The vibration can be a little aggressive, but it’s tolerable. The LED indicators are a little bright for my preference. So, I just put a strip of electrical tape over them. My only complaint is that I cannot start my Switch from the controller.

   It’s my main controller for most things. If you’re looking for a controller for competitive play, you should probably spend more. If you want something to take the place of the joycons and don’t want to spend $60, the Ortz is an excellent option. I cannot recommend this enough.

   Note: My controller did not work after an update. I contacted Ortz, and they directed me to a firmware upgrade, which fixed my issue.

   This “Ortz Wireless Gaming Controller for Nintendo Switch [FREE Analog Replacements] GamePad Remote – Best PC USB Computer Gamepad, Windows 7 &10, Android [TURBO BUTTONS] is honestly the best alternative Nintendo switch controller: Pros: – It’s easy to set up (had some misunderstanding’s at first but after actually reading the setup guide, it took less than 5 minutes) – You only need to pair it once and every time after that first initial pairing you turn it on, it automatically connects to the switch – I haven’t tried it yet but I have heard you can hook up as much as 4 controllers to play local multiplayer. (I’m probably gonna buy 3 more to test that) – The vibration is really good, the motion control’s work great, and the controller feel’s pretty solid (not super heavy or anything, probably weighs as much as a ps3 controller but not as much as an Xbox one controller) – Instructions were very easy to follow – Cheap (pretty much half the price of a pro controller) Cons: – The thumbsticks have no actual grip on them but that is not really a problem because they come with like a rubber grip you can put on. – If your use to the Xbox controller’s, the triggers on this controller feels a bit odd because there’s less travel, but I guess even the actual pro controller is like that as well so that just takes getting used to. – And the only way to charge it is with us, there is no charging dock, or at least that I know of. So if you have multiple controllers your gonna have to charge them individually And honestly that’s about it, I really like the controller. I just hope that they come out with some custom designs later but yeah that’s about it.    Just got this and spend most of the night with it. It’s a legitimately great controller. Works right out of the box, was really easy to connect to my switch, and most importantly, it doesn’t hurt my hands. I did find the buttons a little bit stiff, but I think they will loosen up with time. The controller is just a little bit too big for my grip, so I think most people will probably love it. Usually when people complain about a controller being too small, I feel like it fits me just right.

   Updated on April 12, 2018 Contacted the seller via email, they were nice enough to send another controller at no cost, and it arrived today. When i opened the package, i could already tell i had received a completely different controller from what i had originally bought. The new controller had no branding, box art implies the controller came from company “Honson “. Similar looking controller otherwise, until one tries to connect to the Nintendo Switch. Failed to connect several times, with no luck being able to use my new controller. Tried to connect with PC, where it works. However, D-pad fails to function, so a complete waste of a setup. I have sent out another email in hopes they will face the issue and why this shady practice is happening on their side. ——————- Arrived with the L1 button not working at all. Decent size controller with rumble, no motion controls, but i barely use them. Just wish i could use L1, most games for the switch requires that button input.

   Pretty nice controller for the price. I only use it with a Nintendo Switch. Compared to the official Pro controller this ortz controller is much stiffer regarding button presses and stick movement. It is a pain to pair because it can only be paired on the ‘change grip/order’ screen. To pair you must click on ‘controller’ on the Switch home screen, then ‘change grip/order’ and then press the home button on the controller for about 4 seconds. It can not pair by plugging it in via the usb cable and the switch does not remember it, it must be paired every time you want to use it. Pros: -Comfortable design. -works with the Switch -rechargable and has good battery life(so far) -comes with a nice long USB cord -decent price under $30 Cons: -Annoying to pair -Can not remotely turn on the switch like official controllers can -stiff buttons -no instructions what so ever -no tilt/movement sensors Overall it is a decent budget controller if you do not need the movement sensors
