   Pura nostalgia y lo mejor es la parte de museo, con el arte y documentos cronológicos de las árcades de Neo Geo. La emulación de los juegos es buena, así como la selección de los mismos.    This is one of the best retro game collections I’ve ever played, and one of my favorite new game releases of 2018. This isn’t because of the quality of the games themselves, but the care that was put into their presentation and the many options available to the player. This collection allows you to experience these old titles almost any way you want. Many of these games have multiple versions, between North American and Japanese releases, and Arcade vs. Console versions. This collection let you to try them out for yourself and see which you like best. Players also have the option to watch a tool-assisted speedrun, and jump in and start playing whenever they want! This is nothing short of revolution. The additional free DLC coming for this title after launch just sweetens the deal even more.

   If you love retro games, you need this collection in your life.

   This collection is done with so much love, i honestly can’t say this enough. Every game is perfect, also the ability to customize or hell even just “watch” the game is great. I picked this up some i could relive my childhood. My grandfather bought me Crystalis when i was 8 on a whim, and it turned out to be one of my favorites games I’ve ever had the chance to play. Every time i play it I always think of him. Thanks SNK/NIS for making this amazing collection.

   Rather than another Neo Geo compilation, this is This is like a Criterion collection of silent films, but for Ikari Warriors. These games were hugely influential and the elegance of the controls in these games with the radial joystick is really powerful. Contextualized with twin stick controls with ample documentation, curated and implemented to be digested rather than flipped through. The rewind functionally is also a revelation. Vanguard’s cool, Alpha Mission is cool, and the portable/handheld long screen? Incredible.

   For a very niche audience who wants to re-live arcades of the 80s (for nostalgia reasons), or want to see how it was like back then. I’ll list all the games at the end. Gameplay feels very dated and may be off putting for those who are used to current gen gameplay Has a rewind feature, save state, and achievements Rewind works really well with no pauses/lag in between. You can also let the game play itself, stop them any time, and play the game yourself from there. Menu displays really nice artwork, but a hassle scrolling to the game you want as you have to transition through screens instead of having a simple list to select from. Has a museum mode where you can view artwork, concept art, and listen to music tracks Includes 25 games from 1979 to 1990 . Every game has thier original arcade version except for Crystalis which has a console port. Some games have options to play both arcade and console versions and select region. For console version, which system it was ported from is not displayed. If you get the Xbox One version of the game you also get ‘Baseball Stars’ bringing the total list of games to 26. For Switch version, you must download patch and free DLC to get all the games. Personally I think it’s a bit expensive at the current $28.    The game list is awful.
   The “extras” are OK, but the pics are too small and low resolution to really like.
   This is the first Switch game I’ve ever had crash on me (and multiple times).
   Total throw-away. I’m going to sell it.

   I bought this collection for a release of Crystalis. That one game alone is worth the price. The collection itself is generous and one of the best as it will more than hold its own to the likes of Capcom, Midway, Atari, or Sega, with its gameplay and the extras described in the product description.

   If you don’t like retro, than sure, this may not be an appropriate purchase for you. But for children of the 80s/90s, it comes highly recommended as one of the best retro collections out there.

   The only complaint I have is also it’s biggest failure. The game is not even formatted for full screen. All it is, is a small square in the middle of a Switch screen with a static background.

   While all the games are nice, esp Ikari Warriors (which is the main reason I got it)….the fact that the actual playable screen is so small makes this game not worth it.

   Waste of money and major disappointment.

    If your a fan of the older Neogeo games then your old like me. This is a great Collection to have if you miss playing the older games for me personally I don’t have to blow the dust of my old console to play some of these games if your younger you may or may not enjoy this Collection I’m not going to list the games there a thing called google

    Nice collection of games, however you CANNOT play them vertically while connected to the dock on your monitor/TV…which is unfortunate. You CAN play them vertically in handheld mode, though. This seems super odd that the option doesn’t exist when you dock (it literally vanishes from the options screen when docked) for vertical orientation on a big screen (I have my Switch connected to a display I can rotate vertically for just such an occasion), yet it exists in handheld mode. Why not just leave it in for both?
