I’ll admit, I’ve wanted this game since it initially came out on the PS2 way back when. The artwork on the cover and throughout the game is fantastic, and an absolute pleasure to look at. However, I’m happy that I didn’t buy it back in the day, because I would have been upset that I spent my limited budget as a kid on a game I couldn’t get into.
By today’s standards, the game feels more like it would be a mobile game rather than a $40/$50 title. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a BAD game. It’s a multi-story tower defence style game with a bit of player vs CPU gameplay sprinkled in. It just doesn’t feel worth the full price. And goodness gracious, that tutorial just goes on and on! Lol
