I came from the Akibas on PS3 which was actually fun. But this, how to explain, is kind of an scammy game: textures are like PS2, the camera is super broken, and the fighting style is just unbearable. The “sexy” thema is not present on this game, as the blocky characters are just like TR2’s Lara.

Controls are a little clunky as expected from older games. However, it is worth the asking price.
Arrived damaged as akiya-switch.com chucked it in a padded bag instead of a proper shipping box.

This game is such a guilty pleasure to play. I can’t help but feel so awkward as I have to fight vampire by exposing them to sunlight. And in order to expose them to sunlight, you have to strip them?! Ah genius, who would have thought of such a brilliant concept. It’s pretty raunchy way to fight vampire but I haven’t come across any actual nudity, though, I wouldn’t suggest playing this in front of your family. Putting aside the silly concept, this game remind me a little bit of a street brawler style similar to the river city franchise, however weapons you pick up have to be equipped off-screen which i find to be such an inconvenience. This game seem to have a lot of pop culture references from Japan. I found these references to be quite amusing since some of them does correlate to real issues the country are facing. This game I bought come in an anniversary kit which include a small artwork book and two CD of songs from the game. One of the CDs, however, have the same song multiple time over but with different vocals. I care for neither of these things but they are some nice addition to the game bundle for the collectors out there, I suppose. Overall fun game to play to pass time.

This collector’s edition is good to get if you want the soundtrack to DBP (Dirty Bloody Princess). Also comes with art book that features all Akiba Trip games. The game itself also shows an ad that Akiba’s Trip Undead and Undress will be available for the switch too.
Will Walker Verified Buyer –
The combat is pretty clunky as the controls haven’t been adapted to the switch. The original PSP machine did not have a second control stick for camera and it shows in this game as controlling the camera is close to impossible. There’s also a lack of targeting that I haven’t figured out or is just gone, making fighting multiple enemies really hard. I’d skip this one and put your money to something worthwhile. I bought it to support the company to encourage Undressed and Undead port but honestly I have a bit of buyer’s remorse. Only buy if your a big fan or want to support the company. Otherwise I recommend getting the Digimon Port.
