- The world is filled with dungeons and loot – The game is supervised by David Brevik, who previously created the Diablo series. The dungeons in ‘Undying’ are roguelite, meaning the layout of the map is different each time you play and can only be seen by playing the game. The map features 14 main locations in various layouts, and other ‘unsafe areas’ where events might force you to change your strategy immediately. ゾンビをモチーフにした作品は非常に大好きである。
映画にしろ小説にしろゲームにしろテーマは決まっている。
某ドラマのセリフが印象に残っている。
「ゾンビではなく他の理由なら死んでもいいのか？死はいつだってそこに在る」
ゆっくりと迫って来る死そのものを可視化したものがゾンビであると思う。
納得の出来る死とは何なのか、迫りくる時間とどう戦っていき折り合いをつけるのかである。
今回は母がゾンビになる６０日間をプレイする。
徐々にゾンビ化する母は文字も読めなくなる、咳が出る、時々正気を失う。
その中で子供に生きるための術を教える。
時間は非常に短い。
しかし、これが６０年だったらどうだろうか？
人生そのものの様に思う。
